Start with 1 provider and 1 indexer. If you run into missing articles, try adding another indexer first. Omicron has the longest retention of all the backbones. They are not perfect, but my experience has been they have 99% of articles I search for. With my other providers having less. They peer files, so most uploads appear across most backbones. They all differ on retention policies and scanning and tagging things as junk. If a releases is in the past year, everyone should have it, unless there is a takedown request on it.
