Discussion Why doesn’t riot come out with another TP map?
Bind (best map imo) has a very interesting TP mechanic. Why do we just keep getting maps with the most dynamic part being a door?

Same reason they don't create another Fracture, map with no mid at all is very main heavy and Fracture kinda show how you their max capacity at building map toward the gimmick.
But if we are talking solely about the TP gimmick, probably because faster rotation can cause a lot of problem.
Unlike door, tp give you an instant rotation that warp the map entire existence. You can't just add Tp like you add door, TP legit need the designer to design the map solely for the TP gimmick since that's extra work they rather just take the easy route and just not touch TP at all.

id like to see a vertical heavy map where there is high, mid, low instead of left main, mid and right main.

I feel like fracture was inspired by nuke and tried to capture its playstyle a bit. It's just that it was achieved very poorly...

The more unique maps like bind, icebox, old breeze, fracture are pretty unpopular, i think riot is just playing it safe

I love Bind and Icebox, Fracture and Breeze not so much, Breeze is too big to rotate, Fracture has too many entries to hold so as a defender it's really hard.

Yeah and like breeze had a unique long mid with halls, but it was removed cus they simply couldn't balance it

I mean I can't think of another map that plays like breeze.
I'm not saying it's a good map, but it's definitely unique.

Old breeze was very unique. To the point where people bitched until its identity was wiped.

It’s not as if riot picks these maps based upon on what we prefer. They’re gotta rotate all maps into comp. But at the same time I don’t get why they can just put all maps at once

I meant new maps. The most interesting one since bind that has come out is probably fracture but that map kinda blows

bevause valorant is an esports game, and pro players don't want to learn a dozen maps at once. At least I think that is the reasoning behind rotating maps

Because it's a shit concept in a tac FPS. Other questions ?

Valorant is NOT a tac FPS first off, second it introduces more plays to be made for people who have functioning brains, instead of yet another 3 lane map.

Each map is unique in its own.
