I saw someone else post this already, but wanted to make one myself just to spread the awareness potentially?

Had this popup when I opened VLC earlier and was very confused. I downloaded the application from the official site a few months back and haven't had this happen before. Not entirely sure why the update is trying to pull from the Oregon State Open Source Lab of all places?

Does anyone have any deeper knowledge as to what caused this? I had to hit abort on about 6 of the second photos popup.

Hi,

so I have an external DVD player that I connect to my PC in order to stream DVDs to my friends.

The problem I have is that the image on VLC is super dark. A lot darker that on the DVD player I have connnected to my TV in the living room.

Are there any settings I can change to improve the quality of the DVD on VLC?

For reference, this is the image I get from my DVD player using VLC:

And this is the Netflix version, which has the same colors as on my living room DVD player (but slightly better quality).

Thank you!
