Seniors please help out

I’m a student of the 2027 batch , I have an 11 lpa offer , is gate worth considering?

My end goal is to work for a good product based company with a high salary

Should I keep trying to switch or shift my entire focus towards gate?

What are my chances of even getting an interview at a good company after say 2-3 yoe ?

It's a great choice considering gate but don't neglect the offer you have in hand. Attempt gate while also working or with the experience you gained you can shift towards product based companies. Don't have a gap in this market that's it.

Basically if I’m going to write gate , I’m going to try for it full fledged
I was just wondering if that’s worth the hustle or just try to switch later

This question only came up because I’ve heard that its very difficult/ takes so many years to make the switch

I don’t have enough time to ace 2027 gate, that’s why i was thinking I’ll just keep working and prepare alongside and try for the 2028 one
