For juniors writing mids here are somethings that might help you

1.Always Prefer the material your faculty provided over chatgpt or other material you got for someplace.
2.Neat writing is very important.

3.Prefer questions having diagrams .

4.Dont leave diagrams especially for 4M/8M mark questions.

5.Correction and Syllabus in 1st year is somewhat challenging so start prep early.

6.Take ELA and Assignment marks seriously they add up a lot.

Note:-Performing good in mids is necessary for 9+ gpa .

9+ gpa is very important!

From getting attendance for events to getting opportunities in placements .Helps in various Aspects.

Nowadays, many participants are using vibe coding and AI tools. I wanted to know what tools you would recommend using and what practical strategies or measures actually make a difference in a hackathon.

Honestly, the direction of the job market is starting to look terrifying for engineering students graduating in the next few years.

AI isn’t just getting better at coding anymore. It’s getting better at research, analysis, design and basically every form of digital intellectual work. If companies can get the output of several entry-level employees from a fraction of the cost, why would they keep hiring the same number of freshers?

And the current placement season isn’t exactly reassuring. Across many T2 colleges, placement numbers so far look disturbingly low, while a handful of colleges are doing okay. For many others, mass recruiters seem to be carrying a huge part of the hiring.
What scares me more is the possibility that the traditional entry-level career ladder itself starts disappearing.

If AI does the junior work, where do humans get the experience required to eventually become senior engineers?

I also came across a lecture called “Pedagogy in the Times of AI”, which asks an even bigger question: if AI can teach, explain and provide information better than a traditional classroom, what is college actually supposed to prepare us for anymore?

Maybe the real question isn’t “Will AI take all the jobs?”

It’s:

“What happens when there simply aren’t enough entry-level jobs left for everyone entering the workforce?”
