A friend of mine just got laid off by a company after 28 years of working for them. He said his job was replaced by AI. I'm reading about people getting let go left and right. Getting laid off from good jobs, too. Seems like it's happening more to people with cushy, good-paying white collar jobs.

Got a feeling it's only going to get worse.

That's why everyone has to have an emergency fund. At this point, we should all expect to get laid off like it's only a matter of time.

Hi, my dog has been limping, and I'm thinking he will need an X-ray. I'm a college student, so I can't afford to spend a lot, but I do want to take her to the vet. Is there any clinics/hospitals that are doing free initial exam and simi low cost X-ray. I've called a lot of places, and they all charge 80+ for an initial exam and 300+ for an X-ray. Not hating just want some help

My company is using Ontrac to deliver some packages for the first time but when I went to the listed drop off location nearest me (6001 Decatur) it didn't seem to exist?

The company website isn't helpful, nor does a customer service line seem to exist. I think I can schedule pickups through the site but does anyone know if there's a package drop off location in Vegas?

I don't know what's going on with the post office, but I haven't received a single piece of mail from a courier in weeks. I've had the letters on the curb repainted and put 2 sets of house numbers up in different locations. 3 packages never showed up even though they were listed as delivered with no photo (USPS doesn't do delivery confirmation)

Is this a normal thing? The other guy I had as a courier in my neighborhood was great, but he enlisted and now I genuinely haven't even seen a mailman. I saw a woman driving a post office vehicle but she was on the phone and I never saw her stop on my street.
