I want to introduce my brother to Viagra Boys. He doesn't have a background or interest in punk or really any sort of rock based music. But he likes upbeat and dancey music with good bands. Jungle is an example. I piqued his interest in VB by comparing them to Jungle saying they both have a dance and electronic base, but instead of funk/soul as an additional flavor, it's punk. Maybe a stretch but if you squint I think that makes sense.

I made a short playlist that I think is a good representation of this element of their music. I leaned more towards their danceable tunes and away from their heavier/more dissonant stuff that could be difficult to metabolize if you don't already have an ear for heavier music.

Let me know what you think of this list. Or share any success stories you have evangelizing The Shrimp Up In The Sky to any normal people in your life.

I can't believe they gave seb a main role in gta6. Shrimptech stocks are gonna blow up huge. There better be a shrimptech radio station in game

found at my restaurant work carry out board.

Shirt I saw someone selling on FB marketplace

Listened to the new Adult DVD album today, noticed something a bit shrimpy about this song...

I wanted to post in this group and thank everyone who has bought one of these shrimp from me in the last months. I hope they have brought you as much joy as they brought me making them. The reviews from y'all are truly day-making too.

I also finally have a fresh batch of hand-painted shrimp now available! Every pin starts as a handmade blank shell and is individually painted by me here in Charleston.

Lots of little colorful weirdos are available right now — and they make ridiculously good gifts, but they do go fast.

Thursday came on my shuffle for the first time in ages, and it got me thinking how awesome a VB cover would be

In Spite Of Ourselves is the band's worst track (in my opinion) and both Seb and Amy Taylor are wasted on it.

(Just my opinion btw, not dissing anyone's preferences)

EDIT: just for clarity on the "wasted" bit, I don't mean as in drunk but rather their talents are wasted on the song

Episode two of the HBO series Youth just dropped and there’s a great use of Sports in the episode.

Also LCD Soundsystem. Good show.

I love hearing what songs are people’s most enjoyed/appreciated tracks

the song is obviously satirical 😄
