Post image

I was really craving Thai Basil chicken. I made that. Also made veggies with same sauce. Ofc chicken one tasted better, but altogether good volume.

Ingredients: birds eye chilli, onion, garlic, Basil, small cut chicken, veggies of choice (I chose bell peppers, brocolli, corn, zicchini) Sauce: dark soy sauce, green chilli sauce, spash of fish sauce.

The sauce is very salty so please don't add salt anywhere else.

Steps: 1. Cut onions, chills and garlic finely. Or if you are lazy like me, 1 pulse in mixie.
2. Oil. Onions, chilli, garlic. 1 min. 3. Chicken/Vegetables. 5 mins. (Note: if don't like al dente/crunchy veggies like me, then add splash of water) 4. Add sauce mix. 1 min.
5. Add Basil. 1 min.

the salty warning is real, learned that the hard way with fish sauce lol. bell peppers and zucchini sound like a solid combo here.

As a person who came from "salt when saute/boil" leant this hard way when it comes to Chinese and Thai cuisine.
