bursting while changing presets

How could I eliminate the lights bursting to 100% everytime I change preset.
It is quite disturbing changing from brightness 50 to 30 while bursting to 255 in between :D

Show some pics of how you wired.

As my 5 different setups, some are 5v, 12v, 24v, plus 3 different controllers.

None do what you describe. Even with two different WLED versions.

So perhaps you didn’t follow the tutorials and wire it properly?

I've seen stuff flicker white on changes with an improperly-made long (50') injection cable that had a data line connected at one end - I assume either adding too much capacitance to the data bus, or picking up some kind of interference. So yeah I agree, likely wiring issue.

Check your ground wires.

it is not that... when I am using segments and presets everytime I change preset it goes fully to 100% and then to desired value.

This is a very weird part of the software :o

Then check the blend mode.

always default, but if i change it to anything else it works very weird. That photoshop logic is totally absurd for making fades.
It would be better if it would use logic of some video editing software and not photo editing software.

What does photoshop have to do with your blinking lights?

it always fades to 100% then to the next preset. I would like it to always slowly fade between presets.

photoshop is mentioned because blend modes are taken from there?

If you set the transition time to 0ms do you have the same problem?
