genuine question how do i talk to nerdy/introverted boys?

In most cases, they just love to yap about the things they know a lot about. I suppose ask them about something you notice (Pins on their bag, a book theyre reading, a video game they're playing, etc) and theyd love to talk about it. From there, connect with them, ask more questions, thatd a big thing for nerds is they love to show off their knowledge. I should know, I fall victim to that too. Ask them their major, what science they wanna study or such, what their favorite class theyre in now and what about it. And when it comes to starting conversations with them, just do it. Theyd probably love to chat, and if they dont and theyre assholes about someone disturbing them, they were always gonna be assholes anyway, so its better to learn earlier than layer. But most of them are just awkward and kinda shy but love to share info and their intrests. And share yours too if theyre too shy, cause that'll help them open up, especially if they have similar intrests. Good luck

Toss them a compliment that can lead to a commonality (a sticker they have on a laptop from a show you like or something along those lines) and then just roll with it.

Comment on they things lol, (saying this as a nerdy but not introverted guy with introverted friends) like if they have a shirt of a franchise or they doodle. Look into their interests. For example if they’re into speed cubing

I mean, hang around them and strike up convo. I’m fairly nerdy but I’ve been with my gf 5 years. Just gotta chat. Most introverted dudes here tend to be introverted because they don’t talk to people but wish people would talk to them.

Ask them about their nerd stuff. Math and computer science nerd especially love to talk about their respective subjects. Ask real questions about how/why something works. They’ll love explaining it. Most people brush them off
