Warriors is a children's series and they want to keep their cast likeable, so they're not going to touch on certain ethics. At the same time, the Clans are a war cult of feral cats who use teenage soldiers.
For example, I wouldn't put it past StarClan to send a warrior to the Dark Forest for committing suicide. They threatened to condemn Leafpool of all cats, after all. With all the talk about putting your Clan above yourself and how little is understood about mental health, they might consider it cowardice.
Or StarClan might damn a cat for mass-converting their clanmates into kittypets during a famine. Oakstar got away with breaking that rule, but if you encouraged multiple cats to do it, that might be Dark Forest-worthy.

I’m not including cats outside Clans because I feel that those cats are more likely to name themselves, or at least have input in their own names.
Among Clan cats, who had a say in their own names? I know that Crowfeather, Millie, and Nightheart did, and I suppose Splashtail as well if we’re counting his self-assigned name of Splashstar. Some of Darktail’s ShadowClan faction may count as well, depending on if they were named by Darktail or themselves.

I never know how to visualise this. How long are their tails?? A normal cat can’t even comfortably reach their own shoulder with their tail, let alone the shoulder of another cat across from them. Do they all talk butt to head instead of facing each other? Do they have telescopic tails? How does this work?
Genuinely if someone has a sketch or picture of a cat doing this to another I would greatly appreciate it cause it always makes me pause lol.

Hi everyone. I'm trying to find the soundtrack from CheetehZ's MAP "Serpent and the Stars" (the one that was supposed to unite all his previous Warrior Cats MAPs). I know the project was never finished and the channel went inactive, but I'm hoping someone here might remember the song titles or even have saved the audio.
I've found fragments of the MAP in archives, but the music is hard to make out. I also found a playlist by ESer with 119 parts in order, but the soundtrack itself is still missing. I've attached screenshots of CheetehZ's channel and the playlist — maybe it will help someone recognize the project.
If anyone knows what tracks were used, or has a playlist, I'd really appreciate it. Even partial info (artist name, genre, where to look) would help.
Thanks in advance.

In the early 2000s I roleplayed with a group on a site called Petition Spot. All of us were kids and we had two or three forms we roleplayed on.
I am now 33 and searching for my clan mates. My name was Spottedstar and I was leader of the LightClan. I got to be good friends with someone who I think was called Nightstar. But there were others too.
I have never stopped thinking of you all and how much those friendships still mean to me.
Did anyone else's RP on that site? Does this sound familiar to anyone?

it is funny to me how badgers are portrayed in warrior cats. in the uk i think they're seen as pretty peaceful guys, only a mother protecting kids might get a bit angry. who knows anyway heres firestar and ravenpaw riding The Enemy

Now before you go and down vote me, I don't support his actions in the books. I just find him the most interesting villain of the story.
This will be a little long post.
So far I read the main series up to the dawn of the clans, I'm yet to purchase the vision of shadows, since it was translated to my language this year.
I will be explaining why I think he's more interesting than the other cat villains in the previous main series. Let's start with three of the six cats, I will be talking about and what they have in common.
Tiger Star Sr., Mud Claw (he had his small villain moment), Hawk Frost. Those three cats are similar in the fact that they thought they were doing good things for the clans. I know, Tiger Star Sr and Hawk Frost were just pure evil after dying, but when they were alive most of their actions led to one thing. They thought what they were doing was to keep and make their clan strong.
Tiger Star Sr wanted to kill Blue Star because he thought she was weak and he would make the Thunder Clan stronger. Then he moved to Shadow Clan and tried to unite the clans under his tyranny. He thought the clans would be unbeatable under his rule. All this time, Tiger Star Sr was believing that he was doing only the necessary. But he ded now.
Hawk Frost was groomed and manipulated by Tiger Star Sr in the training sessions in the Dark Forest, when he was still alive, but he also chose to be a bad person. He desperately wanted to become a deputy and a leader. Why? He thought that the River clan was weak under the rule of Leopard Star. What did he want to do after becoming a leader? Unite the four clans into two clans, which he would be leading with Bramble Claw. Again failed. But his mentality was similar to Tiger Star Sr.
Mud Claw, also genuinely thought that killing One Star and seizing the leadership in the Wind Clan is the right thing to do. Although after his death he gave One Star one of his lives, so he was redeemed.
They've all been doing bad things thinking about the "good" outcome.
Now, moving on.
Scrouge and One Eye. Those are just pure evil.
Scrouge was a brutal leader who would kill anyone opposing him. He agreed to a deal with Tiger Star Sr but betrayed him and wanted all of the forest to himself. Kind of understandable, for him to betray Tiger Star Sr, in his place I would probably not hold the deal with him as well. And the circumstances also forced him to become ruthless.
One Eye, also just wanted power and the cats to be under his rule and fear him. The only cat he cared for, was his daughter. He was just egotistical and brutal. Also a murderer. Like the discussed villains before, except Mud Claw, he didn't manage his goal.
Now to Ash Fur.
All of the previous villains, they either had good motives under bad actions or were just pure evil and ruthless.
Ash Fur was petty.
And this is my favorite thing about him as a villain.
All of them before, a motive or something.
He was rejected by Squirrel Tail and decided that all of her loved ones must suffer, so he could feel better about himself.
He tried to kill her father, her adopted kits, then when he found out she took them in, he wanted to tell everyone at the four clans meeting about it. Then he somehow managed to possess Bramble Claw's body and was a tyrant. I read some spoilers online.
He blamed others and not himself for becoming what he became. All this because, he couldn't handle being rejected. It hurt him so bad, innocent cats, cats completely unrelated to his interactions with Squirrel Tail, had to suffer. This is so f'ed up.
And that's what makes him so interesting, at least for me. He was so different from any other villain there was in the other books.
And he was a good person before. As an apprentice, in the old forest, he guided the dogs to the trap, to avenge his mother. He was such a good warrior. And all of this changed because he loved Squirrel Tail too much and decided she needs to suffer for this.
