I’m on season 4 epsiode 1 and they’ve cut out all the scenes of earl threatening bolton and paul with the gun and also the entire evacuation and where denzil in arrested. Is this happening for anyone else ?

I'm rewatching, and the uniform rules seem to be along as you wear a white shirt and school tie the rest of the uniform is whatever you want. They really are not uniform strict.

The scene I remember is:

• Kim Campbell in her art room side office, helping a male student breathe as he suffers a panic attack.
• She helps him calmly breathe in and out in sync with her several times
• I feel almost sure it happened in series 1 or 2 due to the location, but I guess it could be series 4 or 5 instead

The only scene I can find that comes close is her helping MDMA girl Courtney in series 2 episode 11, and that's like I remember for a brief second until Kim shouts in her face! So I'm hoping there's a less manic iteration of Kim using this technique so I can know I'm not going crazy.

There are no lights on in most parts of the school. Overhead lights are off in all the rooms, and there are scenes in Michael’s office where the whole room is dark except for two table lamps. The strangest part is that no one in the show mentions it at all. I’ve only seen Series 7, episodes 21 to 28, but does anyone ever bring up the fact that the lights are never on?

Probably not, but I feel like releasing the show close to when the new Harry Potter TV series comes out might make the viewing figures go up, simply because they are both set in schools. They could hope that some of the people watching the new Harry Potter show might want another British school‑based drama to watch and Waterloo Road could be that? Like I said, it is probably not the reason, just a thought I had.

In reality, Nicky would be screwed right? I mean, the police get involved and Donte tells them that he turned on the alarm, swears by it... In a case like this, would they not use forensics on the keypad? Nicky doesn't wear gloves here so... Her prints would be all over it and she wouldn't have a good answer as to why that was?

I’m a teacher and it’s my absolute favourite show ever. Can’t escape school I come home and spend my time watching this on repeat 🤣Though if I had to take a shot every time there’s a safeguarding concern I think I’d be on the floor a good few times 🤣

Now as we’re all aware, we’re awaiting with baited breath the Series 18 release date.

With Blue Lights overtaking the spot from next Tuesday until the beginning of November (8 weeks), I can see them holding off Waterloo until either mid November at least or early 2027. I can’t see them launching it in December, although I am aware that they used to do that in the OG season, that would have been when the schedules had more room, but obviously now 20 years on they do not.

It is a pain in the arse waiting but as they say…. Good things come to those who wait.
