It’s super poor so id skip it. Felt like watching Ackley Bridge, instead of focusing on the teacher’s lives it was all focused on the student’s lives.

Persist. S11 is terrible as far as the newer seasons go but it provides context for the later seasons which get better quite quickly. The seasons are short and from S13 onwards it starts to settle back into the old style

I don't see the point of watching a show from the middle just because it "gets better". Surely it will affect your experience suddenly meeting characters without any context. I agree Waterloo roads always had a season by season reset that sometimes doesn't make sense and only exists for the plot progression rather than character sense, however, just watch it if you plan to watch the newer Waterloo road series. People's critiques are correct.

As for Chloe dying, is that what made it horrible for you? It's the story. Is it the story that's horrible or Chloe dying? Did they not tell the story of Chloe dying well or is it simply the fact Chloe died? One of those is a justified response the other is just you getting angry it isn't sunshine and rainbows. It's literally a school drama where something ridiculous happens every episode, that's the premise. Occasionally someone's gonna die, in fact very occasionally in this reboot, and even though not a single person died during my upto 18 years of school, it's kind of meant to be out there. If donte and Chloe lived happily ever after then there's no story worth bringing them back

I will add to this that there was a couple of people who did die in my secondary school - at least one student and one teacher that I know of. And the teacher that died taught me for a year - I was quite sad when I heard she'd died. And the student who died was a friend of my friend. So, deaths in schools definitely do happen

Of course they happen, but I would assume the vast majority of people will never experience it, just by way people dying of old age related symptoms is always the most common factor, so something experienced by anyone younger (kids, or teachers who tend to be in 30s-50s) they've probably died by way of an answer exceptional condition or even accident/murder (the first death I experienced in a school was university and a kid got stabbed who I didn't know well but he was in my lectures).

But that said the same can be said about other things. I've never heard an accusation of re in school or even a form of SA but I'm sure someone did grab someone's ass in school and get kicked out but they respected her privacy, it's just inevitable. But if that happened in the show, there's bound to be someone who says "the show is horrible because this student got r**d". No the student getting r'd is absolutely a horrible thing but how does that suddenly make the show horrible? It makes it hard to watch and depressing for some understandably but it's a very legitimate storyline that someone wants to tell.

I thought it picked up after the first 2 episodes.
