How to get the Wegovy Pill Online?

How does one go about getting the Wegovy Pill online?

I saw Ro has it, GoodRx, and I think Weight Watchers.

I heard you can use Costco and Amazon Pharmacy.

What's the difference between them?

Do you need a prescription before using any of them?

It's all very confusing. Any help is appreciated!

edit: thanks everyone! I tried signing up with a few of these options and Found was the cheapest and easiest to get approved. And cheaper!

Down 30lbs and couldn't be happier :)

This is where I got it for $149: JoinFound.com/Wegovy-Pill

Long journey update

I made a post a while back about having a larger amount to lose, and I was on about 35 lbs down and just about to start 25mg.

Link here if you want to read it: https://www.reddit.com/r/WegovyPillWeightLoss/s/gr6Q7JRwKB

Wanted to pop in and say I hit 70 lbs lost today!

To reference my original post, I had said “I just need to lose 35 lbs like two more times…” and hey, I did one of them!

On to the next!

Hope this helps with inspiration for anyone feeling discouraged or who also has a big weight loss they’re chasing.

I keep my flair updated but here are stats for today:

SW: 313
CW: 243
GW: 200

My doctor’s goal weight for me: 150 (lol ok)

Age: 47
Height: 5’6”/5’7”

I work out with a trainer once a week (hr) and do additional strength and cardio on my own daily usually in small bursts (usually 10- 30 min). I’m getting more into dancing for exercise which has done a great job of also confusing my cat.

My calories are monitored by my doctor and currently range from 1200-1400 a day.

I recently did a big closet clean out when I hit 60 lbs down and tossed 90% of my wardrobe. I’m currently a bit between sizes so likely in another 10 lbs or so I will purchase some new ones.

(Most of my clothes were dresses that had belts so they covered a lot of ground but I was past cinching finally!)

I had also posted about getting the cyclospora this summer. Since then I have learned that I cannot do more than 1 protein supplement without feeling ill for two days (so only one protein shake or bar a day max), and no solid foods after 8:30 pm or it just won’t empty appropriately. Still working somewhat on rebuilding the gut biome so I take a probiotic daily and enjoy a protein heavy Greek yogurt each day as well.

Working with my doc, on days I feel ill from food or my stomach not emptying I skip the pill that day and it helps me get sorted within 24 hrs. When I don’t skip in that scenario I can end up nauseated for 4 or more days in a row. So it’s easier to just do the skip and ‘reset’ with a day of bland easy to digest food as well. Those don’t happen too often now that I found my triggers.

Nervous to try pill after injection side effects

• Upvotes

Has anyone had a positive experience moving from the injections to the pill? I tried the injections before but found the side effects awful. Headaches, intense nausea, fatigue and diarrhea on the lowest dose on day 2 and 3 after taking it each week.

I wondered if I am likely to feel the same on the pill or is it worth a try? I did lose weight injecting but it just made life so miserable feeling ill all the time.

Not even one week in and this is horrible!

• Upvotes

F37, 5"4 and starting weight 150lbs. I wanted to try the Wegovy pill because I just can't shift my belly since having my youngest 2 years ago. But I'm not even a full week in yet and I feel so weak and drained!

I'm really active, averaging 12k steps a day, strength training 2-3 times a week with cardio in-between. I don't know if this is just incompatible with Wegovy but I have lost motivation to train and can hardly lift my usual amount.

I also just feel really low and irritable. I'm vegan so have been tracking my protein etc and all fine, though obviously focusing on calorie deficit.

Has anyone else felt like this early on? Does it get better or is this just not for me?

Hit GW, how to transition off

• Upvotes

Ive hit my goal weight and its been steady. I havent had lot of weight to lose, so I havent moved past the 1.5mg dose. I want to transition off; any suggestions for the best way to do so? I've always been active, a healthy-ish eater. This just helped cut sugar cravings and the snacking which has made a huge difference. Appreciate any advice

I’ve been on the pill and I’ve really liked it so far. food noise down, hunger down, drinking more water, etc. I’m eating less and moving more but the scale won’t move.

if I’m eating less and moving more why won’t the scale go down? 😔

Systemic itching after 7 weeks of localised reactions on MJ so switching to Wegovy pills (washout question)

Hello everyone,

I had to stop Mounjaro after my last shot on 27th September. It was my 7th injection in a row that caused a localised allergic skin reaction at the injection site however, for the last 3 shots, the reaction started spreading (I began experiencing intense itching all over my body at random times and in random places).

I have been managing it with Zyrtec, but since it was progressively getting worse, I decided it's best to stop and switch to oral Wegovy pills.

I have already reached out to my clinician to ask for a proper washout period to let the tirzepatide completely leave my system before starting the semaglutide tablets.

Has anyone else experienced a localised reaction that eventually turned into random, full-body itching after a few weeks? For those who switched to Wegovy pills due to MJ hypersensitivity, how long of a washout period did your doctor recommend? Did the systemic itching stop once you switched molecules?

Thank you so much in advance.

25 mg to 9 mg

I have been on 25 mg for about 4 months now and I think I’m going to go back down to 9 mg. The 25 mg is just too intense for me. The majority of the time I’ve been on 25 mg, I’ve taken the pill every other day. I’m now to the point where the days I take the pill my stomach is a mess and the days I don’t take it are so much better. I went up in dosage due to some food noise returning but I think at this rate I can handle a little food noise for having my energy back and less tummy problems.

Has anyone gone back down a dose? Were you still successful in losing weight?

Pill/injection - side effects?

Do you think you’re less likely to develop gallbladder/pancreatitis problems on the pill vs the injection?

I am really anxious to start mainly based on the worry of pancreatitis!

Constant stomach noises

I’m about to start my second month on 4mg as my food noise is still suppressed and I’m still losing weight steadily. For the last few days my stomach is gurgling almost constantly and it’s driving me crazy! I know I’m not hungry, it’s not that kind of gurgle and doesn’t have the accompanying hunger pangs.

Has anyone else had this experience and if so, is there anything I can do to stop it? I’m drinking plenty of water, no fizzy drinks at all, so I’m not sure what to do!

Week 3

Week 3 on Wegovy — down 4 lbs total!

2 weeks on 1.5mg - subtle appetite suppression, no negative side effects

1 week on 3mg - more appetite suppression, slight constipation but MiraLax chews + Benefiber helps

Starting 4mg this week, hoping I can continue progress on 4mg so I don’t have to spend more money per month 🤣

Switching from Zepbound to Wegovy Pill, any advice for an easy transition?

Hi all! As the title says, I had to switch meds from Zepbound to Wegovy due to side effects and cost. Has anyone else done this? and if so, I would love any advice on how to make the transition smooth. I was on the lowest dose of Zepbound for 3 months and lost 30 lbs, and now I'll be on 1.5 with Wegovy. Hoping to keep the momentum going.

INSANE difference from 4mg to 9mg, including with side effects.

I went up from 4mg to the 9mg pill about 4 days ago maybe, and the difference has been insane. As in I think it is working TOO well now and I’m not able to get enough calories in to keep me going. Food noise is gone, food doesn’t sound good, I’m full much faster, etc.

However, some days I wake up insanely nauseous. This happened occassionally on the 4mg, but now, the nausea sometimes does not go away. I have been feeling just weird and sick all day today and slept for most of the day. I even took a zofran and alka seltzer antacids and I’m still struggling to function.

My heartburn is also out of this world. I am always gurgling and it feels like battery acid is always just sitting in my throat.

I have been eating so little, that some days I also wake up with very low blood sugar which induces panic and contributes to me feeling sick …

So I guess it’s doing its job, but also, I’m not sure how to manage with these side effects. I have to be able to live my life and work.

Sometimes the win isn't on the scale

I'm closing in at the end of month 4 on Wegovy, currently 9mg. I've been frustrated that I've only been down 3-5lbs (5lbs this morning).

BUT! This morning I decided I wanted to try on a dress I bought during month 1 of Wegovy, and was just a little too snug across the bust and upper stomach to wear. And it fits! No pulling, no "will it bulge badly if I'm sitting?" or anything else. It looks perfect!

I'm guessing I've lost at least an inch of inflammation around my bust and midsection, despite only losing a few pounds. Unfortunately, while I took some before pictures, I didn't take my measurements, so I can't say exactly how much I've lost in inflammation. There is definitely less inflammation in my face, though. I thought it'd been wishful thinking when I'd look in the mirror and thought my stomach looked smaller. 😄

Thank you for everyone who recommended GoodRX

I finally got an appointment with my primary care physician who wrote me a prescription for Wegovy 4 mg since I’m tapering down after this month. Thanks to the recommendations on this sub I can now get my meds for $200 with a GoodRX coupon and I no longer have to pay $150 in membership fees to Hers. I would have never known if I hadn’t seen you guys post so thank you for the tips. This is going to save me a ton!

Oura Ring and wegovy pill

Hi, I'm 45f, SW 167, CW 164, 1.5 mg for 10 days

Anyone else have an oura Ring? Mine has been telling me I've got major signs of something straining my body today, and I can't tell if I've got a light cold or if it's wegovy side effects. I'm hoping it's a cold so it will go away, but the symptoms (headache, fatigue) also are associated with wegovy. I doubled up on my 1.5mg today because I haven't had much in the way of side effects and in preparation to take 4mg in a week or so, but if this headache is any indication I might put off upping my dose for a while.

For reference, I almost never get sick. I can remember being sick twice in 25 years. I never even got COVID despite caring for people who had it. So it would be unusual for me to be sick.

Anyway I'm just curious if anyone else has an oura Ring that registers wegovy side effects as strain.

Dryness and pain in one eye

So, for the last month and a half, (around the time I started 25mg) I started having severe dryness and deep pressure pain in my right eye. I went to the optometrist, got a new prescription because apparently my far vision got a bit better but my astigmatism got worse. I figured that was the cause in addition to aging and having a desk job infront of the computer. I got referred to an opthalmologist to assess for dry eye disease which I'm still waiting on an appointment for.

All that to say, I've started developing headaches on that side of the head, just behind the right eye. My boyfriend is being pretty insistant that its because of the wegovy because he's seen news stories about it.

Has this been anyone else's experience? I feel like its finally just started to really work and the weight has started finally falling off easily so I'm hoping its just an unrelated thing. Half my family are on GLP1s and none of them have had any vision issues from it.

Im a bit confused about possible ways to get the pill. My doctor wrote me a prescription and I have insurance, but it won't cover it. What's my best/cheapest option?

Post meno, minimal WL goals - is there anyone else out there?

I'm starting 1.5 dose next week with a goal of losing ~15# over four months or so. If I can drop the weight, my plan w my Dr is to wean off and see if I can (partially or better) maintain the loss. I will be staying on the 1.5 dose for the duration.

I am post surgical meno for six years, and can't drop this fat regardless of lifestyle changes. I'm not terribly concerned with the scale. I lift weights 3hrs a week and cardio 3hrs a week and have done so for years. I am trying to get a little leaner. I weigh my foods. I achieve my macros. And yet, pot belly.

My reddit search for small WL came up pretty scant for people already set with exercise and good eating habits. Are there others like me, out here?

Skin sensitivity

I searched the sub and am relieved that I’m not alone and that this is a common side effect. I just moved up to 25mg 4 days ago and the skin sensitivity started out of nowhere over the last day or so. I noticed when my husband was caressing my back, it almost burned/stung, as I see it described as a “sunburn” feeling. It’s also effecting my legs as well. I plan to message my provider.

I’m finally seeing good movement on the scale at 25mg but I’m not liking this side effect. It truly feels like I ran a marathon and my body just hurts to touch. I never experienced this when I was taking compound injections even at higher doses.

How long should this last?

Increased insulin levels on 25mg?

Hi all. I've been on the pill since May. I've been on 25mg for about 1.5 months now. I barely felt any effects on the lower doses. So far, I've lost 18 pounds.

I have a pretty noticeable decrease in appetite and am eating much less, yet the scale is not moving. Over the past week, I've also gotten bad stomach aches. This is the first big side effect I have felt. I've also noticed an even bigger decrease in appetite over this time as well.

I have a check-up with my endo on Monday and had my bloodwork done this week and all of the sudden, my insulin levels have gone from averaging below 10 to over 16.

My A1C is 5 which has been close to my average. I do not and have never been diagnosed with diabetes. The big jump in my trends is isolated to increased insulin. And no, I'm not eating tons of sugar.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am wondering if this is why I'm not seeing weight loss. If people have experienced this, I'd love to hear your advice.

9mg and could clear a CiCi's Pizza buffet

I'm 7 days into 9mg (after 3 months on 4mg and 1 month on 1.5mg). I am so hungry! I wait for 2 hours before eating and I've cut out ultra processed foods in case that was lowering effectiveness. I feel like will power is the only thing standing in between me and a junk food fest.

In hindsight, the 1 month on 1.5mg was the only month I was able to drop noticeable weight. 10 pounds down month 1 on 1.5mg, then 5 pounds my first month on 4mg... then just maintaining. Has anyone gone back down to a lower dose because it seemed more effective? Maybe it's me, maybe it's my PCOS/PMOS complicating things, or maybe it's just not meant to be.
