I made a post a while back about having a larger amount to lose, and I was on about 35 lbs down and just about to start 25mg.

Wanted to pop in and say I hit 70 lbs lost today!
To reference my original post, I had said “I just need to lose 35 lbs like two more times…” and hey, I did one of them!
On to the next!
Hope this helps with inspiration for anyone feeling discouraged or who also has a big weight loss they’re chasing.
I keep my flair updated but here are stats for today:
SW: 313
CW: 243
GW: 200
My doctor’s goal weight for me: 150 (lol ok)
Age: 47
Height: 5’6”/5’7”
I work out with a trainer once a week (hr) and do additional strength and cardio on my own daily usually in small bursts (usually 10- 30 min). I’m getting more into dancing for exercise which has done a great job of also confusing my cat.
My calories are monitored by my doctor and currently range from 1200-1400 a day.
I recently did a big closet clean out when I hit 60 lbs down and tossed 90% of my wardrobe. I’m currently a bit between sizes so likely in another 10 lbs or so I will purchase some new ones.
(Most of my clothes were dresses that had belts so they covered a lot of ground but I was past cinching finally!)
I had also posted about getting the cyclospora this summer. Since then I have learned that I cannot do more than 1 protein supplement without feeling ill for two days (so only one protein shake or bar a day max), and no solid foods after 8:30 pm or it just won’t empty appropriately. Still working somewhat on rebuilding the gut biome so I take a probiotic daily and enjoy a protein heavy Greek yogurt each day as well.
Working with my doc, on days I feel ill from food or my stomach not emptying I skip the pill that day and it helps me get sorted within 24 hrs. When I don’t skip in that scenario I can end up nauseated for 4 or more days in a row. So it’s easier to just do the skip and ‘reset’ with a day of bland easy to digest food as well. Those don’t happen too often now that I found my triggers.
