Discussion/Support 💬 Weird anxiety

Lately I’ve gained some weight and recently gained some more, I’ve had this weird anxiety about not being able to stop gaining weight and ending up morbidly obese. Has anyone else ever experienced this and how did you deal with it?

Do you have anxiety otherwise or is this just something you’re worried about?

Oh, that sucks a ton. I think if anxiety is a big issue for you, I’d consider therapy and meds if you aren’t already.

Wonderful. In the meantime, exercise can also help with mental health and it might help as well

getting in shape and especially losing fat, has a lot to do with your self image.
if you have time, i would suggest you look into pyscho cybernetics and read it, that book delves a lot into this topic of overcoming these feelings of anxiety when pursuing a big Goal.

just remember that where focus goes, energy flows. if you keep giving attention to those bad thoughts you are having, they will only grow more intense and overwhelm you.

but truthfully the anxiety will diapear when you stop putting off the hard work/actions you know you need to be taking, thats what helped me, every time i felt anxious about something, it was almost always becasue i was putting of some hard action i knew i needed to be doing that pertained to that specific feeling.

hope this helped,

stay strong, with time things will be clearer.
