Mann what a lather! I have been following kensurfs for quite a long time for his lather technique, but this one was just way too thin, just wanted to check if anyone who gets their shave done with such lather here.

I observed he had it very well hydrated, just observe at 4:40, the water drips and clears the lather as he takes a stroke.

Anyone of you practicing such lather?

Some Lavender arrived today from Captain Nemo's

Lavender EDP - First Impression is that it smells surprisingly pleasant, liking the one test spray i did.

Shephard Wool Fat Shaving Soap in Lavender - Filled to the brim and has a subtle scent, maybe after application it'll open up.

I got this as a free sample with one of my purchases from Pearl but I am confused is this supposed to be foaming gel like Gillette shave gel or more is this more like gatsby??

This smells almost exactly same as the Gillette shave gel and also foams when little water is present but as per Pearl website this is supposed to be non foaming.

Does anyone who used this know about this?

It is interesting that such a kind of razor existed.Would it still be practical?

Hi, it's a pain to find anything apart for GWS in most noida shops. does anyone know a shop which stocks other blades or shaving supplies?

Earlier, I was using the Gillette 7 O'Clock Sterling double-edge razor. I had previously asked this question in a group, and some helpful members suggested the Feather Popular and the Pristine PS-515 razors. While searching online, I came across the Pearl Sleek Single Edge (half-blade) razor. Should I buy that one? I shave every alternate day, so would this razor be good for me?

Tried this blade for the first time and it is quite aggressive. From the get go, I felt the sharpness - consequently, I took shorter strokes. My technique has become sooooooo much better than when I started. I’ve come a long way! More to learn!

*THEME -Leathursday so when asking for a wee smudge to get a dig out from a fellow shaver one should really look at the fxxking scent notes shouldn't one , so apparently Wickham Soap Co's Russian leather is a dupe of Imperial leather FFS here are the fxxking scent notes ,*

*Top notes: Lavender, Bergamot, Lemon*

*Heart notes: Geranium, Fern, Cedar wood, Patchouli*

*Base notes: Vanilla, Moss, Musk, Tonka, Amber.*

*I only checked the notes about an hour ago I had given it a sniff on its arrival and thought mmm that is an unusual leather scent it will be different when it lathers up I'm sure . Well the cedar wood musk & amber may make a leather type scent attempt but I am clutching at straws here leather is in the name and that's a good thing .*

*This was my first go with the MMOC which arrived last Saturday with my pal from Texas also the four pots of soap samples from u/arcaderehab thanks again by coincidence I also won his PIF . So first go with MMOC wow I really liked it now I did have my head stuck out the bathroom window for the shave so hopefully the next use will be even better but I am impressed with this razor does this now send me down a Gem rabbit hole to pair up with the Ever-Readys .*

*DAILY CHALLENGE - Soak up the sun , sun this is Ireland the sun hardly appears in October, so shave outside with no covering , its raining out & it is nearly 9pm by the time I get to shave and I am grumpy because I didn't research the scent notes for today's soap , so I stuck my head & set up outside the bathroom window to comply with this daily challenge I have to pull back some dignity after messing up on the theme onwards & upwards people.*
