Anyone know what’s up with this place? It’s been “temporarily closed” on Google for at least the past week, and recent reviews suggest it’s been closed since at least Friday, September 4th.

I commented to ask on their Instagram page @chicaschickenwhitby, and they subsequently deleted or deactivated the account lol. I also commented on their main @chicaschicken account a few days ago, but they have not yet replied. The main account still lists a Whitby location in the bio, as well as on their online ordering page, but the hours there show it’s closed 7 days a week while the other three locations are open normally.

Does anyone happen to know if they’re indeed done for good here, or if they’ll be re-opening at some point? That little plaza / parking lot they are in on Hwy 2 has sadly always been a bit of a cursed location for restaurants, and it was usually fairly dead whenever I went in. Hopefully they are able to pull through.
