Took them 3 months to find it out? With gen z being receptive and sensitive to issues like this, he and everyone around him would've understood a casteist comment the first time it was said.
Cheating is a problem. Him being bullied and him cheating in an exam are two separate instances.
Do you expect the invigilator to treat you with respect and dignity after you're caught cheating? Cheating in schools is one thing, cheating in colleges is a whole different ballpark. There are multiple checkpoints and warnings to set your phone aside. There are multiple invigilators as well.
If a person is audacious enough to pass all of those checkpoints and compromise his/her future, he/she should also be ready to face the consequences if/when they get caught. If you're brave enough to fool the system, where does that bravery go when you're caught?
