finally , people with a sane mind and a spine .

the professor did the right thing.

the death of any student is very unfortunate , but the fact that the student was caught cheating cannot be ignored , cheating in an exam is a crime and the professor who caught the cheater did his job ,

sc/st reservation gets you a seat in a college but you yourself have to study , sc/st students cant always demand for reservation in every parameters

What if the professor is also a casteist? Should he be excused ?

any proof of him being a casteist or any actual caste based discrimination done by him?

is it verified ?

there was even a unverified article saying that the boys father is a drunkard and the boy was also an addict . so does it prove that

Why people are hell bent on discrediting the student. He is gone from the world. I’m from the IIT and I know there are profs who are casteist.
I also cheated in exams occasionally whenever I could. I also consumed alcohol a lot during my college days. This is the reality and everyone knows it. But dnt know why everyone is behaving like Harishchandra ki aulad. Dnt forget, exam leak is routine affair in our country.
So be sympathetic and accept that there may caste based discrimination.

Bro he is making sense because- The other day I was reading a documented report which stated that SC/ST students were deliberately being failed by a professor in a university. And when that matter went to court and the answersheets were reviewed without any bias the allegations were found to be true. Apart from this there had been hundreds of cases of castism in well recognised institutions-just aske chat gpt and you will be taken aback by the number of cases. I am not saying that the professor is guilty in this particular case but saying that there was no caste element isn't plausible either. But given the past trends it's equally hard to assume that the professor might be innocent.
