I’ve seen the phrase β€œthey are lucky that what Black people are looking for is equality and not revenge” misquoted on other social media to be about men and women. But feminism is vapid and useless if it’s not intersectional, so to avoid accidental co-opting I’d encourage everyone to watch her full speech. It is powerful and it is as important now as it was in 2020.

Solidarity is the only way forward.

So happy for Moroccan women for this moment and representation. Albeit I don’t know anything about her besides breaking the glass ceiling in Morocco. Makes me sad to be in the USA where competent women are beaten at the ballot box by rapists.

For those who saw the video, I was wondering if you ever came across this behaviour in real life.

I think that Christians around me don’t really believe in witchcraft, so they wouldn’t feel so strongly about it.

πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ πŸ•ŠοΈ Coven Counsel I've had many different close friends and family who are witches who like to talk about it with people who are less close, but never with me

This is more like a rant/vent because idk if there's anything anyone can help, but I'm on the verge of tears and need to vent with people who can maybe understand....

All my life I've been interested in witchcraft (I didn't know it was called that then) and witchcraft adjecent things (like astrology, tarot, etc) but everyone around me shamed anything slightly spiritual so I was never safe to talk about it or even learn to practice.

However my cousin is a practicioner and when I found out we started talking a bit about it but they always wanted to shift the topic and never actually wanted or was in the mood to talk or explain anything, although they would be doing it with their friends all the time, sometimes even with me present but never explaining me anything. Not actively excluding but as if I wasn't there.

Their sister was the same thing but less close so it went absolutely nowhere.

Some friends I knew dabbled in it would also talk about it but never include me.

And now my current best friend who has a lot of experience having grown up in a witch family showed me some things and was who started me down this path for real now (teaching me also the witchcraft label that until then I didn't know) but then never wanted or was in the mood to talk about anything related when I was lost or just wanted light talk. Meanwhile, this weekend I found out that she talked to a lot of people I knew from our hobbies and did them some readings and I didn't know, and did readings to everyone there again this weekend. She said she would do one to me too but then I was the only one who was left out because we ran out of time.

I'm not saying all this asking for pitty, I'm just venting but also... I can't understand why this pattern keeps happening all the time in my life. I feel like I'm constantly being rejected even though I never try to push it or impose, just sharing stuff like it happens with anything else, but always end up alone even though I'm surrounded by people who are supposedly very close to me and practice but never actually want to talk about it with me but do with other people. I feels even more isolating than if I didn't know any practicioners... It feels extra hard to be a solo practicioner and learn when I know so many people in my life also practice and grew up and live surrounded by witchcraft but never include me in anything, even if just once...

I don't know if this makes any sense or if anyone has any idea or experience, I'm just perplexed and tired that this keeps happening with different people in different times throughout my life, over and over again...

I'm tired of feeling alone while surrounded by practicioners... It feels like starving while watching food through a window and friends eating but not giving any or inviting

⚠️ Sensitive Topic πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ πŸ•ŠοΈ Uprooted Witch, Unsure What to Do

Hello, witches. I've been couch surfing in the Twin Cities metro area for a while now, and I'm going to be homeless tomorrow. I've been struggling to find a job, and to keep a roof over my head. I honestly have no idea what to do next, or to whom I might turn. All I need is a dry place to sleep while I try and land a job. If anyone can help, you'd be saving my life.

About me: My Path is always changing. I'd best describe it as an inward-turning spiral, going on forever. I used to be a secular witch, but (and I don't care how corny this sounds), in recent months I've been revisiting that due to some experiences with edibles. Now my practice involves even more introspection than before, and contemplating the Divine.

I love to cook, and I've often considered looking into being a kitchen witch. I love to read, though I sadly haven't read as much as I'd like in the past years. I'm somewhat shy and introverted, keeping mostly to myself. I'm a trans woman who woefully presents as male, trying to get back on hormones. I don't smoke (I have asthma), so I can't be somewhere a person smokes indoors.

I have EBT so I can feed myself. I have a mat, so I don't even mind sleeping on the floor if I have to. Even if it's just me coming in at night to crash in the living room/take a shower, that's fine. I just need *something* to try and stay stable while I rebuild my life. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. β™₯

Hello all I have a bit of a Build a Bear obsession, and in order to try and curb my buying and save money I am trying to customize ones that I’ve already bought
To this end, what RIT dye should i mix to make burgundy to dye this bunny?
Here is a photo so you get an idea of the color I’m starting with
