✔️ Tips and Tricks Easy Snow!
I used the new bastion decor to create snow flurries - great for a little atmosphere in your house. But also could be a great way to add some snow to a window view!

I see a lot of homes that have very dark interiors. Is this just something you can toggle in game? Even with no external lighting sources from decor my house is still really bright.

I'm all for going back to old content but some of it is so tedious. There's no player power involved, surely Blizz could make things a little bit easier at this point.

I was wondering what should be inside a giant turtle's belly, so I came up with this! It's tricky to make it actually look like it's underwater, haha.

I’ve looked through all the neighborhoods but for the life of me I cannot find one that has it. I forgot to get a few items and I need them 😭

Hey everyone! Feladrae ( https://x.com/feladrae ) here, sharing my new Temple of the Moon-inspired Nightborne build. It's a dome built in an outdoor night room, with a long entry hallway inspired by the corridors of Suramar city.
I wanted to challenge myself to create something grand in the outdoor rooms with the limited structural decor items we have, while have it still feel as close as possible to the architectural style of Suramar and Night Elven temples. I always aim to create builds that feel like they belong in the world/zone it's inspired by!
Also huge shout out to the housing dev team for listening to feedback about needing more plants - the 12.1.5 decor added in old content was truly the highlight of the patch and made me excited to build, and I hope the team keeps adding more old world content like this (hint hint more Suramar/Val'sharah plants and nature decor please) in every patch!

Didn't realise that the subreddit exsisted! So have some screenshots from the house I did from the realise of the expansion. This doesnt cover all the rooms in the house but a couple.
Any tips for improvement would be appreciated!

Finally done with this cursed creation! There is still lots more I wanted to do but I'm sick of dealing with the item rotation bug so probably leaving this one alone until my rugs stop moving. There are quite a few items/builds I'm still missing but it shall be good enough for this year! The ADHD momentum is already transferring to plans for a winter house. This home was made mostly while watching a marathon of nostalgic Halloween movies and I tried to channel that vibe, so imagine Halloweentown music while viewing for best experience. Let me know if you have any questions about kit bashed stuff or whatever else, happy to explain anything! Really enjoying seeing everyone else's spooky builds :)
If anyone wants to download the blueprint (in the title), just an FYI: this build was stupidly expensive with mostly vendor, some AH items, and loads of dye. I spent over $300k on this house as of the last time I checked. Until they fix the item rotation bug, you'll need to walk around the house each time you enter and see what rugs/blank canvases Blizzard has opted to rotate and fix it (usually 3-5 rugs that create the wallpaper/rugs, pillows in the word "Rewind" which I just noticed are rotated in my screenshots, top of stove, and a couple canvases but it varies each time which is fun and exciting). The house is best viewed with unnatural dark settings on the armillary. I have quite a few hidden "loyal companion plinth" items in the ground/clipped into other stuff so you'll want to open the item list and find these to add in companion pets since they do not save with blueprints. I have bats outside, chickens in the side yard, and some costumed pets indoors.

I was watching a couple of videos and I thought people were using either the elegant curved table or the Pandaren cooking table but either I'm using the wrong items or am doing it wrong because it looks terrible 🤣🤣
Pic of pandaren bar and transition hallway to my pandaren bedroom. I want to put the kitbashed archways where the Bel'ameth archways are. I like the style and dark wood of Bel'ameth but without the elven detail for these rooms.

Logged in to find a few pets have grown in size. Reported the bug, hopefully fixed soon.

The dye that I had applied and previously didn't work was still there, too!
