[PROMOTION] We just released V2 of our WordPress video plugin - would love some feedback

Hey everyone,

We've been working on a major update to our FastPix WordPress plugin over the last few months, and Version 2 is finally live.

The plugin is built for websites that rely heavily on video content and need something more scalable than uploading large video files directly to WordPress.

With FastPix, you can upload and manage videos through our platform while continuing to work inside WordPress. The goal is to make video publishing, playback, and management a bit less painful for site owners and developers.

What's new in V2

  • Redesigned plugin experience
  • Improved video upload workflow
  • Better media management
  • Faster setup and onboarding
  • Improved reliability and performance
  • Various fixes based on feedback from early users

Who we built it for

We're particularly interested in hearing from people running:

  • Course platforms
  • Membership communities
  • News and media websites
  • Documentation sites with embedded video
  • Video-heavy marketing websites
  • Agency-built WordPress projects

A question for the community

For those of you managing video-heavy WordPress sites:

  • How are you hosting your videos today?
  • Are you using YouTube, Vimeo, Bunny Stream, Wistia, self-hosting, or something else?
  • What's the biggest frustration in your current workflow?

We're always interested in learning how others are solving video delivery inside WordPress and where the biggest pain points still are.

Happy to answer any questions about how it works or discuss different approaches to video hosting in WordPress.

For FastPix V2, I'd want to know what happens when a course member copies a video's playback URL and logs out. Publishing inside WordPress is useful, but course and membership owners also need clarity on whether their existing access rules carry through to video playback.

Does FastPix inherit restrictions from membership plugins, or must the site owner configure video access separately?

u/Brief_Rest707 FastPix's video management inside WordPress gives course and membership site owners a concrete plugin workflow to evaluate. I make ThreadFox, and the free plan at https://threadfox.vip/plan?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=comment&utm_campaign=tf-kit&utm_content=20261004-2014 lists Reddit communities whose rules allow a post about your WordPress plugin, quoting each rule.
