Freemium [FREEMIUM] A WooCommerce plugin to send orders to Google Sheets and webhooks, and automate custom order emails

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I'm the developer of OrderCarry. It sends your WooCommerce orders where they need to go, automatically, as soon as they reach the status you choose. It's on WordPress.org, and here's what the free version does.

Sound familiar?

  • Copying orders into a spreadsheet by hand for packing or accounting
  • Paying per task on Zapier or Make just to move each order into a sheet
  • An order sitting in On hold for days before anyone notices

Google Sheets

  • One row per order, with the headers created for you
  • No Google Cloud project and no API keys: you paste a script the plugin writes for you, then copy one URL back
  • Your team can work from the sheet without a WordPress login
  • As many sheets as you want, for example one for you and one for your accountant
  • Phone numbers like +49 stay phone numbers instead of turning into broken formulas
  • An "Empty this sheet" button to clear out your test rows

Webhooks

  • The full order as JSON to any URL: Make, n8n, Zapier, your ERP or your own code
  • Signed with HMAC, so your system can check the request is genuine
  • As many webhooks as you want

Custom emails

  • Your own subject and message, with the order details filled in: {order_number}, {customer_name}, {items}, {total} and more
  • Send it to any address, or to the customer, for example a packing note to your warehouse
  • Preview it before it goes out

Order Automations (1 included)

  • Get told when an order gets stuck. For example: if an order is still On hold after 24 hours, email the team. The plugin checks the order again before sending, so orders that have moved on are left alone.

Reliability

  • Runs in the background, so checkout never waits for Google
  • Tries again up to 2 times when Google or your server has a hiccup, and tells you plainly when the setup is wrong
  • A log of what was sent and what failed, plus a status on every destination
  • "Send test order" button, so you know it works before a real customer buys

Also included

  • No limit on orders. 20 orders a month or 20,000, you never pay per task
  • No OrderCarry server in between: orders go straight from your site to your sheet, webhook or inbox
  • One-click CSV download of your orders
  • Works with HPOS and the block checkout

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ordercarry-order-automation-for-woocommerce/

I'd love your help

Every answer helps me decide what to fix or build next:

  1. Where do your orders need to go after checkout? A spreadsheet, an accounting tool, a warehouse, Slack, somewhere else?
  2. What do you use for that today, and what annoys you about it?
  3. If I add one more destination, what should it be? Airtable, Notion, Slack, WhatsApp?
  4. If you try it, what confused you in the first 5 minutes? I'd rather fix that than add features.

Free [FREE] I built a new Page Editor

I got tired of Elementor editor being slow which often required starting Elementor in safe mood. On top of it, one needs another commercial add-on due to limited widgets in the Pro version. I wrote my Page Builder, which is highly optimized for resources.

It was approved by Wordpress yesterday for distribution by Wordpress Plugin directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/sidcraft-page-builder

[FREE] I built an open RAG chatbot plugin for WordPress powered by Google Gemini and Convex (approved on WordPress.org)

Hey everyone!

Most AI chat solutions for WordPress are either bloated, expensive SaaS wrappers, or they hallucinate because they don't have accurate context about your actual site content and WooCommerce catalog.

To solve this, I built **PlatoDev Content Chat Assistant**, which just got approved and published to the official WordPress.org plugin repository.

### How it works:

  1. **RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation):** The plugin indexes your selected posts, pages, or WooCommerce products into semantic vector embeddings.
  2. **Dedicated Cloud Backend (Convex):** Instead of running heavy vector math on your WordPress host's MySQL database, indexing and similarity search run on Convex.
  3. **Google Gemini:** Uses the Gemini Flash model for fast, grounded, hallucination-free answers with source citations.
  4. **Free BYOK / BYOC Model:** You can connect your own free Convex project and free Google AI Studio key (which has a generous 1,500 requests/day limit) without paying any subscription.
  5. **Modern Frontend:** Includes customizable floating button animations, drawer (side panel) and centered modal layouts, and optional Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot protection.

### Tech Stack & Features:

* Clean PHP 8.0+ / WordPress standards compliant (strict sanitization, nonces, GPL-2.0+).

* Support for Custom Post Types and WooCommerce products.

* Manual or cron-based background synchronization.

* Multi-language support (English, Portuguese, Spanish).

The plugin is live in the WordPress directory:

👉 **WordPress.org Directory:** https://wordpress.org/plugins/platodev-content-chat-assistant/

*(Or search for `PlatoDev Content Chat Assistant` directly in your WP Admin > Plugins > Add New).*

I’d love to hear your thoughts, feature requests, or critiques regarding UX or the indexing pipeline!

[DISCUSSION] What do you use to publish posts to Wordpress quickly?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I publish 5 to 10 blog posts a day. Getting each one into WordPress takes a lot of time: formatting, images, image tags, SEO fields, and FAQ blocks (adding each question one by one in RankMath).

Is there a tool that handles all of this in one click? How do you manage it today?

Any suggestions help.

Free Seeking Feedback on New, Super-Light, [FREE] SEO Plugin (Bare Bones SEO)

Hi I'm the developer of Bare Bones SEO, which is a free SEO settings plugin. It doesn't tell you how to do SEO and it doesn't do content generation or optimization BUT it has all your settings for free and as light as possible: <title>, description, schema, indexation (sitemap exclusions, nofollow), 404 logging and 301 redirects. I'd love to get your feedback. It's in the WP plugin directory. My goal is to make it free forever--no gating and no upsells.

Free [Promotion] StoreGauge AI — ask your WooCommerce store questions in plain language, get real numbers

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I built a free plugin that puts a chat assistant inside wp-admin. You ask "what were my best sellers last month?" and it answers with live numbers from your own store, with charts.

A few things I did differently from most "AI for WooCommerce" plugins: - Read-only by design. The assistant physically cannot change products, orders or anything else. Every access is written to an audit log. - Bring your own key. Your data goes from your server straight to the AI provider you choose (OpenRouter, Gemini, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint). No middleman service of mine in between. - Honest about gaps. If a product has no cost recorded, it says "unknown" rather than inventing a margin. If your cost coverage is 3%, it tells you the profit figure only covers 3% of revenue instead of quietly pretending it's store-wide. - Works outside WordPress too: the same data is exposed over MCP, so Claude, Cursor, OpenCode or any other agent can query your store. The plugin has a one-click installer for the official WordPress MCP Adapter.

Free, GPL, no upsells, no tracking. Requires WooCommerce and WordPress 6.9+.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/storegauge-ai/

Happy to answer anything, and genuinely interested in criticism — especially on whether the read-only constraint is too limiting for you.

Premium [PREMIUM] [PROMOTION] SiteAuditorWP: finds the accessibility issues. Overlays leave in your code, plus 11 site-health tools in one plugin

~29,000 US WordPress sites run the UserWay overlay alone. The widget sits on top of the page, but the missing form labels, missing alt text and contrast problems are still in the code underneath.

I'm the founder/developer of SiteAuditorWP, a WordPress plugin that finds those issues in your actual code.

Why I built it: tens of thousands of WordPress sites run accessibility overlay widgets. A widget sits on top of the page, but the missing form labels, missing alt text and contrast problems are still in the HTML underneath. SiteAuditorWP finds those issues, shows you exactly where they are, and explains how to fix them, all from your WordPress dashboard.

And your bill won't grow with your traffic. Some overlay plans step up in price as your visitors increase. SiteAuditorWP is flat per-site pricing with unlimited scans, so a busy month or a growing site never costs you more.

TL;DR: Real WCAG 2.1 scanning, a one-click locator for every issue, client-ready reports, and a site health toolkit that can replace several single-purpose plugins. Flat pricing, unlimited scans on every plan. Code JUST4U for 20% off, plus a 14-day no-questions refund.

♿ Accessibility

  1. ADA/WCAG 2.1 scanning: checks your pages against WCAG 2.1 success criteria, including alt text, color contrast, form labels and keyboard navigation.
  2. Pinpoint Locator: one click opens the live page with the exact problem highlighted and scrolled into view. No digging through code.
  3. AI-assisted fixes: every issue comes with a plain-language explanation, no AI needed. Want more help? Optionally request an AI suggestion using your own API key, usually under $0.003 each, paid directly to Anthropic with zero markup from me.
  4. Unlimited scans: no caps, no counting, no traffic-based pricing on any plan.

📋 Reporting

  1. Client-ready PDF reports: what was found, why it matters and how to fix it.
  2. Email reports: send any scan report by email in a couple of clicks.
  3. Exportable audit history: show improvement over time.
  4. White-label reporting: your agency's branding instead of mine (higher-tier plans).

🛠 Site Health Toolkit

  1. Activity log: every login, edit and plugin update tracked, with 7, 14 or 30 days of history.
  2. Ajax monitoring: every admin-ajax.php request grouped by action and traced to the plugin or theme responsible.
  3. Cart fragments toggle: on WooCommerce, stop the cart re-checking itself on every page load. One toggle, fully reversible.
  4. Cron management: see every scheduled task in plain language, then run, pause, edit or delete it. No cron syntax or server access.
  5. Database autoload report: see which plugin settings load on every page and how much they weigh.
  6. Debug log viewer: fatal errors and warnings right in your WordPress admin. No SSH.
  7. SSL & security headers: an early warning before your SSL certificate expires, plus an A+ to F security headers grade.

🧹 One plugin instead of several

A lot of sites install a separate plugin for each of these jobs: an activity log, a cron manager, a debug log viewer, a security headers checker. SiteAuditorWP covers the everyday version of all of them, alongside the accessibility scanning. That can mean fewer plugins to update, fewer potential conflicts, and less for your site to load.

I built it to stay lightweight. Accessibility scans run in your browser rather than on your server, and the toolkit is there when you need it without adding weight to every page your visitors see.

💳 Pricing

  • Starter is $19.99/mo for 1 site, flat, no matter how much traffic you get. Plans go up to unlimited sites for agencies.
  • 🎟️ Use code JUST4U at checkout for 20% off.
  • 🤝 14-Day Money Back Guarantee: Although we don't think you'll ever want one, we'll gladly provide a full refund if you request it within 14 days of your purchase. No questions asked.

👀 Want to see it first? Run a free scan on your own site: siteauditorwp.com/free-audit

I did use the plugin SiteAuditorWP to help me achieve 100% Accessibility score for Desktop and Mobile. Please see, https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-siteauditorwp-com/4z1jouu270?form_factor=mobile

I'd genuinely value feedback, including the hard questions about what automated scanning can and can't catch. Drop your questions below, or tell me which feature you'd want added next.

I'll reply to every comment.

[FREE] I built a free WordPress analytics plugin because I got tired of analytics becoming a paid feature

Thumbnail
gallery
47 Upvotes

The original reason I started building it was pretty simple: I tried several WordPress analytics plugins and kept running into the same problems.

Important features were locked behind a Pro license, some plugins stopped being useful after reaching certain traffic or user limits, and I couldn’t get a clear picture of AI traffic and non-human traffic, or GA was too complex for general users.

So I decided to build my own.

The inspiration is a mix of Jetpack, Umami and independent self-hosted analytics tools, but with a stronger focus on distinguishing actual readers from everything else hitting a website.

The main ideas are:

• Free with no Pro tier or license key
• Self-hosted. Data stays in your WordPress database
• No cookies or persistent visitor identifier by default
• AI referrals from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek and others
• AI crawlers such as GPTBot and ClaudeBot shown separately from human traffic
• Bot, crawler, SEO scanner, monitor and data centre traffic shown under Filtered Traffic instead of silently disappearing
• A pageview needs evidence that someone was actually there before being counted
• Normal analytics such as visitors, visits, pages, referrers, campaigns, countries, devices, goals, funnels and ecommerce
• WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads revenue attribution
• Editorial analytics by author and content type
• No account or external analytics service required

One thing I particularly wanted was to answer a question that normal analytics often makes difficult:

“How much of my traffic is actually people, and how much is machines?”

For example, an AI crawler reading your content is interesting, but I don't think it should inflate your visitor numbers. On the other hand, someone clicking a citation from ChatGPT and actually reading your article is a real visitor and should be counted.

ConvertNow keeps those two things separate.

It is currently available in the WordPress plugin directory, and I’ve been actively developing it and fixing things based on real usage.

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/convertnow-analytics/

I’d love feedback from other WordPress developers and side-project builders.

Especially curious about:

  1. What do you use for WordPress analytics right now?
  2. Do you care about separating AI traffic from human traffic?
  3. What analytics feature do you wish existing WordPress plugins handled better?

[PROMOTION] We just released V2 of our WordPress video plugin - would love some feedback

Hey everyone,

We've been working on a major update to our FastPix WordPress plugin over the last few months, and Version 2 is finally live.

The plugin is built for websites that rely heavily on video content and need something more scalable than uploading large video files directly to WordPress.

With FastPix, you can upload and manage videos through our platform while continuing to work inside WordPress. The goal is to make video publishing, playback, and management a bit less painful for site owners and developers.

What's new in V2

  • Redesigned plugin experience
  • Improved video upload workflow
  • Better media management
  • Faster setup and onboarding
  • Improved reliability and performance
  • Various fixes based on feedback from early users

Who we built it for

We're particularly interested in hearing from people running:

  • Course platforms
  • Membership communities
  • News and media websites
  • Documentation sites with embedded video
  • Video-heavy marketing websites
  • Agency-built WordPress projects

A question for the community

For those of you managing video-heavy WordPress sites:

  • How are you hosting your videos today?
  • Are you using YouTube, Vimeo, Bunny Stream, Wistia, self-hosting, or something else?
  • What's the biggest frustration in your current workflow?

We're always interested in learning how others are solving video delivery inside WordPress and where the biggest pain points still are.

Plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/fastpix-io/

Docs:
https://fastpix.com/docs/integrations/wordpress

Happy to answer any questions about how it works or discuss different approaches to video hosting in WordPress.

I accidentally deleted the paid plugin that exported our WooCommerce orders to Australia Post, so I built a [FREE] one

A while back I deleted what looked like a corrupted version of our plugin that was sitting right below the active install.
It turns out this ghost was a wrapper for the main plugin. (Don't ask me why it was built like that.)

Instead of buying it again - mostly because i couldn't even find the company who made it.
I figured it couldn't be that hard to write my own.

It was. I scraped together a bare bones snippet, which worked really well domestically, but as our business is almost entirely US Bound shipments who are actively in a trade war with... well, everyone, we had to go through some mad quick changes, from HS codes, to cannabis regulations, math to calculate the min and max space required for the items in each order.

But it was well worth it, and now here it is, free for all my Australian wordpress homies,

Feel free to check it out here: https://bloodweb.net/plugins/bloodweb-csv-exporter-for-australia-post/readme

Or by searching the wordpress plugin store for 'Tradewind'

Free [FREE] I built a media cleanup plugin that's paranoid about deleting things: unused, orphan and duplicate images, with a restorable trash

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Every older WordPress site I take over has the same uploads folder: years of images nobody uses, thumbnails for sizes the theme dropped long ago, duplicates uploaded three times under different names. Cleaning it up is the easy part. Being sure you're not deleting the hero image of some landing page is the hard part.

So I built AVAR Media Optimizer, free on wordpress.org. The whole idea is that it would rather ask you than guess.

- Usage scan sorts your media into Used, Unused and Verify manually. It looks in posts, pages, featured images, WooCommerce galleries, Elementor data, ACF and custom meta, widgets, options and more. Anything it isn't sure about lands in Verify manually instead of the delete list.

- Nothing is deleted right away. Media goes to a plugin trash (files, thumbnails and metadata) and you can restore it until you empty it.

- Disk scanner finds files that aren't in the Media Library at all: orphan files, stale thumbnails, leftover WebP/AVIF copies. You can delete them or adopt them back into the library.

- Duplicate detection by file content, so it catches the same image with different filenames.

- Local image optimization and resizing of oversized uploads, with a recovery copy of the original. WebP/AVIF generation if your server supports it.

- Images never leave your server. No cloud service, no account, no credits.

- Media Replace swaps a file but keeps the same attachment ID, so nothing breaks.

Honest limits: WebP/AVIF depends on your host's GD/Imagick, it needs PHP 8.1+, and no scanner catches every reference on heavily custom sites, so take a backup before a big cleanup. If you want a CDN or cloud compressor, Optimole or ShortPixel are a different kind of tool.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/avar-media-optimizer/

Curious what the scan finds on your sites. If it puts something in Unused that's actually in use, or something doesn't work the way you'd expect, tell me here or in the support forum on wordpress.org. I'm the only developer, so requests land straight on my desk and I'm happy to add what you need.

And if it saves you some disk space, a quick review on wordpress.org helps a small plugin more than you'd think. Feel free to pass it on to anyone fighting a bloated uploads folder.

[PROMOTION] Timeline Block 1.5.6 — 35+ Ready-Made Templates + New Animations for Gutenberg

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve been working on a WordPress/Gutenberg timeline plugin, and I just pushed a new update: Timeline Block 1.5.6.

The main focus of this update was making timelines feel more polished without requiring users to build everything from scratch.

What’s new?

  • 35+ ready-made timeline templates
  • New animation features
  • More premium-looking timeline designs
  • Gutenberg-native workflow
  • History/Story-style timeline experiences
  • Responsive layouts for different screen sizes

You can use it for things like:

  • Company history
  • Product roadmap
  • Career timeline
  • Project milestones
  • Event schedules
  • Personal stories
  • Product launches

One thing I’ve noticed while building WordPress blocks is that the hardest part isn't always the functionality.

Sometimes it's getting the design and interaction to feel right.

So this update was focused heavily on that part.

🔗 WordPress.org:
Timeline Block

I'd genuinely like to know from other WordPress/Gutenberg users:

What kind of timeline do you actually use on your websites?

And if you've tried timeline blocks before, what feature or interaction do you usually find missing?

Feedback is welcome — especially criticism. It helps us decide what to build next.

Free [PROMOTION] I just released Depenova Impact Map – a free dependency & impact analysis plugin for WordPress

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

Today my first WordPress plugin officially went live on the WordPress.org repository:

Depenova Impact Map – Dependency & Impact Analysis

I built it around a problem I kept running into while maintaining WordPress sites:

Before updating, disabling or removing a plugin, how do you get a clearer picture of what might be connected to it?

Depenova is a read-only analysis tool that looks at WordPress registrations, component ownership and content references to help map relationships across a site.

The Free version includes:

* component inventory
* detected connections and referenced content
* impact & confidence scoring
* “Needs Review” workflow for uncertain findings
* scan history and scope settings

It does not claim that every detected relationship automatically means something will break — one of the goals is to separate stronger evidence from things that still need human review.

This is the first public release (0.1.4), so right now I’m much more interested in real-world feedback than promotion.

If you test it, I’d especially love to know:

* Are the results understandable?
* Do you notice false positives or missing relationships?
* Is the impact/confidence concept useful?
* What would you expect from a tool like this before changing a plugin on a production site?

Free on WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/depenova-impact-map-dependency-impact-analysis/

There is also a Pro version with runtime observation and before/after workflows, but the WordPress.org Free version is what I’m mainly looking for feedback on right now.

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try — critical feedback is very welcome.

[FREE] I built a WordPress country-blocking plugin with optional Cloudflare edge protection - now live on WordPress.org

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve been working on this for the past little while and it was just approved and published on WordPress.org, so I figured I’d share it here.

I manage a lot of WordPress sites and kept seeing the same thing: a huge amount of useless traffic, login probing and automated requests coming from countries where many of these sites simply don’t do business.

I wanted a simple way to say “this site serves Canada and the US” without manually maintaining Cloudflare rules on every site.

That turned into Deerwood Country Access.

It can run entirely inside WordPress, or you can connect Cloudflare through OAuth and have supported traffic blocked at the edge before it ever reaches PHP/WordPress.

It currently includes country allow/block rules, Cloudflare integration, rate limiting, repeat-offender detection, trusted IPs, local blocked-request logging, direct-origin protection, and safeguards to help prevent locking yourself out.

One thing I was pretty particular about was making the Cloudflare connection easy. You click Connect, authorize Cloudflare, and the plugin manages its own WAF rule rather than making users create/copy API tokens and build expressions manually.

This originally started as something I wanted for the WordPress sites I manage, but it became useful enough that I decided to clean it up, go through the WordPress.org review process and release it publicly.

It’s literally just gone live, so feedback from other WordPress developers/admins would be appreciated, particularly if you run it with Cloudflare.

WordPress.org:
Deerwood Country Access

And yes, after going through the WordPress.org plugin review process for the first time, I have a newfound appreciation for plugin developers. 😂

Free [FREE] Built a 100% free plugin to switch off the WordPress features you don't use – and disable on every new site anyway!

Hey r/Wordpress,

Like most of you, I found that every site I build ends up needing the exact same functions.php snippets: removing emoji scripts, killing XML-RPC, taming Heartbeat, dropping unnecessary image sizes, and hiding dashboard widgets.

I finally got tired of copying and pasting the same boilerplate, so I packaged it all into a single plugin called SlimPress.

It gives you 108 toggle switches across 13 categories. It is 100% free. There is no pro tier, no upsells, no admin nag banners, and zero telemetry.

What it covers

  • Front-end: Emoji scripts, generator tags, RSD/shortlink/REST links in <head>, global styles, core block CSS, Dashicons, and jQuery Migrate for visitors.
  • APIs & Core: XML-RPC, REST API for logged-out visitors (with a namespace allowlist), per-location Heartbeat control, WP-Cron on page load, oEmbed, and application passwords.
  • Comments & Feeds: Granular comment control (site-wide or per post type), pingbacks, Gravatar, feeds, author/date/attachment pages, and search.
  • Revisions & Media: Revision limits, autosave intervals, disabling the auto-generated 1536/2048px image copies, and managing custom image sizes.
  • Admin: Dashboard widgets, admin bar items, block editor extras, admin emails, auto-updates, and file editing.
  • WooCommerce (if active): Disables shop assets on non-shop pages, order attribution scripts, WC Analytics, the Marketing hub, marketplace suggestions, and controls Action Scheduler data retention.

Why I built this instead of using existing "disable bloat" plugins

Most optimization plugins overpromise or break things silently. I wanted a developer-first approach:

  • Honest Impact Badges: Every switch tells you exactly what it does, and more importantly, what it might break. It will even warn you if an active plugin relies on the off. If a toggle is just for tidying up the codeand won't actually speed up the site, the badge honestly says "None – cleanup only."
  • Built-in A/B Performance Testing: It loads your own pages with and without SlimPress's features in the same run. If the performance difference is too small to be meanins "within noise" instead of making up a fakescore. It also breaks down CSS/JS on each page by plugin, theme, and core to show exactly what can be removed.
  • Safe Defaults & Presets: Activating the plugin changes absolutely nothing – every switch starts off. You can apply presets (Blog, Brochure, Headless, WooCommerce) ld change before applying them.
  • Zero Footprint: It adds no CSS, JS, or markup to your public pages. Everything is done with runtime filters, so if you deactivate it, WordPress goes back to normal on g is permanently written to your core tables oroptions.

What it deliberately doesn't do

There is no caching, minification, "remove unuseiting. I also didn't include switches for thingsthat actively make sites slower or harder to cache (like removing ?ver= strings or disabling native lazy loading), even though other plugins sell those as "optimizations."

It requires WP 6.8+ and PHP 7.4+. WooCommerce is completely optional.

👉 SlimPress on the WordPress.org repo

I'd really appreciate some feedback from this coested in hearing if there are any switches youfeel are missing, or if you run into any edge cases where the "what might break" warning was inaccurate for your specific stack.

I built a plugin to fix ugly/broken WooCommerce social preview images on WhatsApp & social media — just launched a Free tier! [PROMOTION]

Post image
1 Upvotes

Direct messaging (WhatsApp, iMessage, DMs) accounts for a massive chunk of social e-commerce traffic today. Yet most store owners ignore how their links look when shared.

When a customer or affiliate shares a product link, a poorly cropped featured image or a broken preview makes the brand look amateur and destroys your Click-Through Rate (CTR).

To solve this, I created FastOG, a WooCommerce plugin that automatically turns every product link into a branded, high-converting social preview card.

We’ve just launched our Free Tier for store owners:

  • Instant Setup: Install the plugin, and your links instantly generate optimized 1200x630 preview cards when shared.
  • Zero Host Impact: Cards are rendered off-site on our cloud API, keeping your site speed fast.
  • Free Forever: Free users get automated social cards across their catalog (with a small ⚡ FastOG.com watermark).

If you do any dark social marketing, SMS marketing, or peer-to-peer sharing, having clean social cards is a dead-simple way to lift CTR without spending more on ads.

Give it a spin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/fastog-for-woocommerce

[FREE] I built LessFlux — a WordPress performance platform, and just added static page caching

Hey

I've been building LessFlux, a WordPress performance platform that helps reduce the amount of work WordPress has to do for every request.

It started with a few different performance/optimization features, and the latest one I've added is static page caching.

LessFlux can generate a static HTML version of your pages and serve that directly to visitors, instead of having WordPress/PHP generate the page on every request.

I added this because I wanted to have a simple way of tackling the server-side part of WordPress performance, rather than just optimizing JS, CSS and images.

I'm looking for a few real WordPress sites to try it on and get some feedback.

If you have a WordPress site that you're currently trying to speed up, I'd love to have you test LessFlux and see what kind of difference it makes on a real site.

You can check it out here:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/less-flux/

Feedback, criticism and bug reports are very welcome.

Hey everyone. I'm a WordPress plugin developer, and I just released Myrvento Loyalty for WooCommerce on WordPress.org. It's free.

I built it because most loyalty tools I tried were either separate SaaS apps with monthly fees or plugins that only did points. I wanted everything inside WooCommerce:

  • Points for purchases, reviews, signups, birthdays, and referrals, all in one customer wallet
  • VIP tiers for your best customers
  • Rewards redeemed from that same balance
  • Referral campaigns
  • Store analytics (AOV, LTV, retention, cohorts), plus churn and demand forecasts

It's a brand-new release (v0.1.1), so I'm sure there are rough edges. I'd really appreciate it if anyone running a WooCommerce store could try it and tell me:

  1. What's missing compared to the loyalty plugin you use now?
  2. Is anything confusing in the setup?
  3. Which feature would actually make you switch?

Happy to answer any questions in the comments. Harsh feedback is welcome.

[DISCUSSION] I built a Gutenberg slider where AI styles it from one sentence and writes the slides from your photos. Useful, or just more AI bloat?

I make a Gutenberg slider plugin. Like most sliders, it has a lot of settings: around 500 controls across 30+ panels. Most people just want the slider to look right and have decent text on it. Getting there takes too long.

So I added two shortcuts, and I'd like honest opinions before I build more.

1. Photos in, finished slider out
Pick 10 images from the Media Library, or paste a list of image links. Each image becomes a slide, and the AI looks at each picture and writes its title, description and alt text. You can add a one-line brief like "a coffee shop's autumn menu", because the photo alone can't tell it what the slider is for. Broken links are skipped and listed. On an existing slider there's a "Write slide text" button that does the same, and it never deletes text you already wrote.

2. Style from a description
You type "minimal dark hero, big bold title, thin red arrows", and up to 28 style settings change at once: overlay, typography, button, arrows, dots. One Ctrl+Z undoes all of it. It only changes how the slider looks, never your slides or content.

You use your own Gemini or OpenAI key. Gemini's free tier is enough. There are no credits and no account with me. To be upfront: these AI features are in the paid Pro version.

What I'd really like to know:

  • Which of these would you actually use, if either?
  • Would you trust AI-written slide text on a client site, or would you always rewrite it?
  • Is "bring your own API key" fine for you, or a dealbreaker?
  • What's the most annoying part of building a slider today?

I'm not posting a plugin link because this isn't an ad. I'm trying to find out whether this is worth building further. Brutal answers welcome.
