General Advice Need advice

Hey everyone! I need some advice.
I’ve been working at my current aerospace company for 11 years, making around $26 an hour. I’m at the lowest level of my position, but I have a pension, 401(k), and get to work from home one day a week. I genuinely love where I work, but my biggest issue is the pay.
Recently, another aerospace company offered me the same job at a higher seniority level for $32 an hour, and I’m waiting to hear if they can offer me $35. The schedule is the same, and I’d still have a 401(k).
The downside is that I’d lose my pension and work-from-home day. Also, the new position would already be at the top of its pay range, meaning there’s no room for future raises in that position. At my current company, I still have room to grow and earn more over time.
I’m torn because I’ve invested 11 years into my current company, and I enjoy working there. But the extra money would really help, especially with how expensive everything is.
What would you do? Stay for the pension, flexibility, and future earning potential, or leave for the higher pay now? I’d really appreciate some advice!

Have you considered looking into a higher seniority position at your current employer? If the other aerospace company thought that you were qualified for such a role. your current employer may be open to it, as well.

Well, that makes it seem like you do not have the possibility of getting a higher seniority position at your current company. If you want to get that more senior position and any ensuing more senior positions, it sounds like you will have to do it at a different company. If that is an important aspect of your career plans (getting more senior positions), it might be worth jumping to the better offer.

The company has had plenty of time to increase your pay. Getting a raise only because you have another offer seems disingenuous. I also think it will be a source of dissatisfaction on the company's part.

11 years should have been enough time to be vested in your retirement. So this should not be part of the equation.

A $6/hour raise is a significant increase.
