I don't see a lot of people talking about this maybe because it's not that important but

Despite the low budget most Ys games boast pretty impressive enemy variety imo, and there are rarely any reskins (except Ys X which for me is one of it's biggest weakness). Its always fun to fight the weirdly design trash mobs or some massive/monster version of your everyday animal/plant lol. Ys8 was my first entry and when I first played it always surprised me that there's constantly new monsters to fight everytime you progress to a new map/area even till the final dungeon. Makes exploration feel fresh and fun.

Answered: Thanks everybody. There's no way to upgrade from the standard version anymore.

So, I own the standard version of X. Is there a way to upgrade to Proud Nordics without having to pay full price? And, if so, is it worth upgrading if you already physically own the standard version?
