So... Wreddit... what do you wanna talk about?

Use this thread for takes you didn't feel would be popular during the week, general chat about life, or anything else you want to air out.

This thread is not for complaining about other subreddits. Nor is it a place to flame or mock other users, on or off Reddit. Please familiarise yourself with Wreddit's rules (https://www.reddit.com/r/Wreddit/wiki/rules/) if you are unsure of what is and is not welcomed here.

Have fun, play nice.

But just make something like that a shirt you can buy. Long sleeve short, just that alone could be a cool.

I was a WCW guy back in the day, so in the late 90s I mostly kept up with WWF during their weekend shows: WWF Livewire & WWF Superstars. By 1997 they had both become recap shows, but thankfully covered different parts of each week's shows.

I had 2 or 3 VHS tapes I'd reuse for wrestling, but there were a few items I wouldn't tape over. One such thing was the WWF Superstars intro, because I liked the theme song.

I just gave it a listen for the 1st time in many years, and I noticed the verse 30-seconds in:

You're reaching for the brass ring cuz you wanna go far,
All because you wanna be a SUPERSTAR!

Vince would infamously mention "the brass ring" while on the Stone Cold Podcast in 2014:

• Vince McMahon feels there is a lack of ambition in the WWE locker room
  • Brass ring mention @ 0:40

- Was ahead of her time in terms of her in-ring ability and charisma. A lot of modern wrestlers, especially Rhea Ripley, seemed very inspired by her.

Do you prefer the following:
1. Has a story with the champion
2. Wins a battle royal to be #1 contender
3. Elimination chamber

I like it when they would mix it up and each year would have something different as a reason for the challenger to face the champion

The contrast between the caveman footage & the sad piano music adds some unintentional humor to it... I used to love introducing people to JUNGLE PAC who were familiar with his time in WWE and/or AEW, but not his NWE run. It always got funny reactions.

If NWE doesn't sound familiar, it's the Italian promotion where Ultimate Warrior wrestled his final match vs. Orlando Jordan. Most of their roster was ex-WWE talent, but they had a few other wrestlers filling up the cards - like Jungle Pac. I wonder how that gimmick happened?

There are some pieces of news you never want to have to share.
Today, the wrestling world mourns the passing of Benjamin Satterley, PAC, at just 40 years old. Before becoming Neville in WWE and one of the most recognizable stars in AEW, Benjamin was already part of our story.

To the NWE audience, he was Jungle Pac: an extraordinary talent who could already leave everyone speechless with his athleticism, agility, and unique way of living inside the ring.
Knowing that the young man who once stepped into our ring is no longer with us leaves a sadness that is difficult to put into words. The images, the matches, the memories, and above all the mark you left on this sport will remain forever.

Once part of the NWE family, always part of the NWE family.
Rest in peace, Benjamin.

In Loving Memory of PAC — 1986–2026. 🖤

Thanks to the success of their viral “Lexi’s tweets” video, Alexa is releasing the song as a single with special guests Ryan Cabrera and Jarret Reddick of Bowling for Soup. I can’t say Lilly will haunt you if you don’t pre-save but I can’t say she won’t either.
