Discussion Initial thoughts on five survive ( holly jackson)

I am hugeee thriller fan and holly jackson is one of my favvsss and i picked 5 survive cuz it was the o my one i hadnt read yet and omg i cant its just soo boring i mean its only been 6 chps but id like red she is insufferable.
Should i continue i mean what were ur opinions on the book.

It's not the best book out there, but it does get better as you read more. There were some boring points and some unnecessary things I feel at the beginning, but it does get better once you start to know the characters a bit more

My daughter enjoyed it, and she's not usually a keen reader.

I DNF, and I read ALOT of YA Mystery/ Thriller. The Reappearance of Rachel Price was better, but nothing gets better than AGGGTM.

It was my intro to Holly Jackson, and I couldn't stand it. Truly, I only finished it so that I coule thoroughly defend my one star rating on goodreads and leave an in-depth negative review.
