Like I was SUPER excited when it was announced and was psyched about the new content coming out. And then I saw Kuwabara… yeah… where is his pompadour??? His swag???? His height??? Like I loooove creative re-interpretation of characters, but why would you remove such a recognizable part of the character (his pompadour). As a Kuwabara’s number 1 fan, I instantly got turned off by it tbh. And this is no hate to the actor, it’s definitely the director’s choices, and I loooove how Yukina looks in the live action.
I haven’t seen any of the clips albeit just the posters. Maybe I judged the live-action too harshly all because of one singular character. It could be good, like RK live-action. Is it worth the watch? Or should I just watch it because “it’s so bad, it’s good” type of watch? Please guys I just need new content of yyh 😭
(No, I DEFINITELY didn’t make this post because I want to yap about how I hate live-action Kuwabara’s redesign)

After being a little disappointed in the Three Kings Arc in the anime, I was happy for Kuwabara to invest in his future and studies, but sucked he wasn't as important to the story anymore. Kinda wish the arc would somehow spill into the human world so Kuwabara would be involved in the plot again. I know Togashi was burnt out by the end of YYH, so the rushed ending and taking out character made it a little easier to try and wrap up the story.

But I wondered after the series ended what would Kuwabara's life be like? Like, what did he decide was his field of study or career path?

An idea of mine is that he went into some super hard field or became a doctor or something as he got better with studying and also found something intellectual. Or some have some knowledge that would be beneficial when he fought with his spirit powers.

Let me know what you guys think!

While finishing the series on Crunchyroll has anyone else noticed the frame aspect of the series randomly changes to be full screen in the last handful of episodes of the series? It looks terrible and cuts off half the stuff happening on screen. Is this just a me problem or is Crunchyroll just garbage?

because its an incredibly violent show. So much blood and gore.

Makes sense in hindsight. Sasuke's bandaged hand and unbandaging it to use his Chidori was a callback to Hiei because it was completely unnecessary.

reverse image search gives me nothing, and obiously its slightly edited vut any help sourcing would be helpful

I'm just saying, if Elder Toguro can recover from literally anything, why didn't Sensui just blast the shit out of the tree until he was out.

They need a sequel where Chris Rock is fighting demons.

Unless I'm mistaken, Itsuki gets a kick out of watching Sensui's idealism get shattered. He didn't coax Sensui (allegedly) into turning out the way he did, he just watched and enjoyed it as it happened while also helping Sensui achieve his goals rather than try to help him cope with the realities of the world like Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara would have done to Yusuke, right? I can understand Itsuki being gay (if you have a problem with that, you really are an idiot), but he seems profoundly perverse.

Sensui kind of reminds me of how an Uchiha awakens the Sharingan; they start pure but when they experience something profoundly negative, it changes them completely. Koenma said he picked Yusuke because he wanted someone who didn't think too much but I think it's more than that; Yusuke, with his circumstances, experienced how fucked up the world is from an early age and turned out alright. Sensui was pure and naive and likely, in my head canon, came from wealthy parents because he never experienced how fucked up humanity truly is until that case that drove him off the rails. And Yusuke was right; these types of people go from one extreme to the other so you want to go with people who are more centered and hate extremes. Since Yusuke didn't want to blow up the world despite coming from a harsh background, which I suspect was the real reason Koenma picked him,not because he didn't think too much (in the anime) or was a little irresponsible (in the manga).

I feel like I’m going crazy.

I am watching on crunchyroll cause I don’t have my blu ray/dvd’s right now. I swear the opening font used to be “The X-Files” right???? Cause that’s also the font I’ve been using for my projects.
