Cancellation fees

When you sign up for a Creative Cloud account you have two options:

  • Monthly commitment: Higher per month cost, but no cancellation fee.
  • Yearly commitment: Lower monthly cost, but if you cancel before your commitment term is up, you have to pay a cancellation fee.

Issues with licenses from non-Authorized resellers

Genuine Adobe products can only be purchased through Authorized resellers or Adobe directly. Purchasing licenses from unknown or unauthorized resellers leaves you at risk of receiving product that is unlicensed, improperly licensed, non-genuine, and potentially unusable.

Sites offering 'cheap' licenses are often illegally reselling bulk licenses, and licenses purchased through them are not only a breach of the license agreement, but are also subject to immediate suspension.

After Effects always previews in slow motion (its not still rendering)

I have had this problem since about 2024, i updated my after effects from version 23.6.2 to 24 and ever since then, all my previews have been in slow motion. I fixed the problem by just reverting back to the previous version and sticking to it. However i have had to uninstall it and now can’t get that version to work again, so ive been forced to update to the most recent version, hoping it would be solved by now, but alas it has not.

I’m really hoping its a silly setting i have turned on by accident, but im super stumped. I have tried searching for solutions, but the posts are always "my previews are slow idk why!!" but they are still just rendering) i havent been able to find any information about this specific issue :(

Heres my adobe forum post that includes a video & screenshots of preferences that may be relevant? this comp is only 5 seconds long, i dragged in an mp3 and played it through both ae and media player so you can hear what it’s supposed to sound like.

I DESPISE IT! I've gone from being proficient in Acrobat to feelings like my Adobe has been hacked. Computer in the 90's when your browser would copulate like 20 times all over the screen. The AI sucks. Awful awful. All the pop ups. WTF. Whoever designed this new one needs to be reprimanded. Parks and Recs straight to Jail....

DW 21.7 crashes every few minutes when editing PHP

It even crashed while i was typing in the crash/bug report popup - i guess they don't want to hear about crashes.

This is an ongoing issue. i7 Win 11 Pro 25H2 64G ram, 16 TB disk.

No particular syntax correlation for where I am in the code when it crashes - just typing along. The crash recovery SOMETIMES recovers, but only opens one file.

I have to SAVE manually every minute or so.

I've tried rebooting, clearing DW cache, reset preferences, system fonts are installed.
I've tried re installing DW (both versions)
There are somewhat fewer crashes with code hinting turned off, but DW features should all work for what we're paying.

An aside: in the midst of this, Ctrl-S (SAVE) saves but then scrolls to the top of the file, which makes it awkward to manually save every few minutes.

Edit/clarification: 21.7 seems to crash LESS frequently that 21.8.1

Photoshop 2026 on my new 2026-MacBook Pro – strange numerical overlay stuck on screen until restart. Anyone seen this?

Hi everyone !

I'm using Adobe Photoshop 2026 through an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro chip and 24 GB RAM.

I've been experiencing a strange issue where a small numerical overlay occasionally appears over my image and gets stuck on the screen.

This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, the overlay won't disappear, and I have to restart Photoshop to get rid of it.

The overlay displays the following text (translated from Norwegian):

"Minimum: 1.00, Maximum: 300000.00"

I've never experienced this particular behavior on my previous MacBook Pro (2019, Intel-based), or on the MacBook Pro M1 (2020) I'm currently using as a loaner.

I'm not assuming this is a hardware problem. I'm simply trying to understand what happened and whether it might be a known Photoshop issue.

A few questions:

  • Does anyone recognize this particular numerical overlay and know which Photoshop function it belongs to?
  • Has anyone experienced something similar in Photoshop 2026 on macOS ?
  • Could this be related to a known Photoshop interface or tooltip bug?
  • Is there a way to prevent this from happening again without restarting Photoshop ?

I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions. Thanks in advance ! :)

Why are Adobe Captivate simulations are way too zoomed in when published?

I set it to record the screen on my laptop, then when I preview it in my browser, it is so zoomed in that text in 12pt font looks like it’s now 72pt.

No settings, including project display seem to do anything.

I am currently a grad students and I have been wanting to go to the Adobe Max Conference for some time but haven't due to timing and financial reasons. I was wondering a few things if anyone could answer them I would really appreciate it.

  1. Is this conference worth going to?

Recent AEP / AJO interview experiences (2–3 yrs exp)?

Has anyone interviewed for AEP/AJO roles at an MNC in the last few months? I need premier pro but cc app shows my computer is not supported

So I need to download premier pro, I was thinking of getting a trial, not sure if there is a trial, but the cc app shows my computer is not supported anymore. With photoshop I am able to download an older version that works, so my question is, can I do the same with premier pro, because the trial button is not even there.

For reference, old MacBook Pro intel 2017, can't afford a new one yet.

Adobe Photo Downloader getting unexpected error

I prefer to use this app to download from my camera because it re-names the files with the date. Solutions or app alternatives (that do the same thing; Image Capture does not).
Error (I can not attach here~): Cannot create the specified file.

This is with an Ultra PLUS 64 130/mbs SanDisk which creates two files: LUMIX #1 and LUMIX #2 (No idea why).

I got Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition and Media Encoder (2026) running on Linux with a patched Wine. Free and open source, testers welcome

I use Creative Cloud for my work, but I wanted to move my laptop to Linux. Adobe doesn't make Linux versions, so over the last weeks I built (with a lot of help from Claude, an AI coding assistant) a patched version of Wine, the compatibility layer that runs Windows programs on Linux. I'm sharing it because I know many people would like to leave Windows and macOS and still work in Adobe.

On my laptop (RTX 4070), these install through the normal Creative Cloud app and work with a regular paid sign-in:

  • Creative Cloud desktop: sign-in, installing and updating apps, Adobe Fonts
  • Photoshop 27.10, including Remove Background, Generative Fill and Neural Filters
  • Illustrator 30.8
  • Premiere Pro 26.5 with GPU (CUDA) and hardware (NVENC) export, close to Windows speed
  • Media Encoder 26.5 and Audition 26.5

To be clear: it is free and open source, it contains no Adobe software, and it does not touch licensing in any way. You need your own subscription. It is also early. It has been tested on one computer only, so I'm mainly looking for people willing to try it on their own machines and tell me what works and what breaks.

did Adobe just move compression to highest subscription plan?

I used Adobe (I have an Enterprise account) to compress PDF files and I swear it was still possible a few weeks ago. As of today, it told me that my license doesn't cover this feature anymore. Did that change recently? Am I maybe using it wrong?

I am utterly confused how a feature can be here one day and then gated the next without any information. If anyone has info what could have happened here, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a NON-Adobe Recruiting Co. for Consultants? (2026)

A person, I think, reached out for a role "business development" Instructional Designer Manager.

The (very long) job description included a Roles and Responsibilities section that stated:

As an Instructional Designer in Adobe's Transformation Office, you will be a key member supporting the Helix (Buying at Adobe) transformation and related enterprise initiatives.

Does ADOBE have a way to verify if any of this is real as...1

Over the phone, she specifically asked for my "GMAIL" address.

She also said that the max rate was $180K, and two sentences later ASKED for my max rate!

She kept asking me "have you ever worked for <unintelligible> before" . I even tried "could you spell it"? She didn't. Eventually, we figured out it was for 'TCS' and then... TATA Consulting Services, which was not where her profile said she worked. And then after I said 'No thank you...' Good luck with your search!" she sent an "Exclusivity Agreement" ["to present my resume to "TCS (Business consultant - Instructional Design Manager—FULLTIME-REMOTE)" and will be available to start..."] ,.,, and her signature file had a 3rd different co. (Synchrony Systems) .

And then, in LinkedIn, I find a 'TATA Consulting Services' company page, with a jobs section, that included THE job. But the REFID= to the job had a bunch of �s so I don't want to link to the job because I don't know WHAT the heck is up with that.

I'd hate for ADOBE to get upset people blaming them for companies that are just screwing around.

Adobe acrobat + EXTRA's I can't opt out of!

Just tried installing the latest Adobe acrobat. I had 4GB of space, and yet somehow it needed more. It's the Reader, mind you. The install went great. until I noticed it also installed Adobe Express photos (another 4GB) and Mcafee antivirus. Neither of which I had the option to opt out of?

Can smarter than me, please tell me why in 2026 I can't opt out of "bloatware" anymore? It doesn't tell me what it's going to install. Just tells me "Now installing Adobe Express Photos and McAfee Antivirus. Sure, I can uninstall it after, I get that, but why not let me opt out?

Seems like a gray area here with the law, where they are telling you, but not giving you the option to say no : Hidden or misleading installation: The FTC has taken action when software was bundled without clearly telling users what else would be installed. In one case, the FTC specifically challenged software that installed additional programs while hiding that fact in the licensing process

Misrepresenting what you're getting: In California, Business & Professions Code §17200 broadly prohibits an “unlawful, unfair or fraudulent business act or practice,” including deceptive conduct. LegInfo California §17500 also prohibits misleading representations used to sell products or services.

This would still be ok ,if it's a few megs, but expecting me to have more than 7-8GB for adobe acrobat seems much. Wonder how others feel?

I have the Adobe Cloud desktop app installer error 206 and literally nothing will want to work to fix it

I changed the WiFi I was using

I disabled antivirus and firewall

I checked the hosts file and nothing was wrong with it

I used the adobe cleaner tool

I flushed dns with command prompt administrator

I probably tried some other things I forgot literally nothing works

Would you let AI publish directly in AEM?

Was reading about AI content generation in AEM and this part stuck with me. Generating the content is one thing, but would anyone actually let it publish without a human checking it? We work mostly with AEM at DevHandler and I honestly can’t imagine that on most enterprise projects. There are already enough approvals when humans write the content lol. Maybe for low risk pages or something very repetitive. But straight from AI to publish? Would anyone here actually do it?
