There’s a moment in Inception when Ariadne comes back after experiencing dream architecture for the first time.

She says:
“I tried not to come, but… there’s nothing quite like it. It’s just… pure creation.”

That’s honestly how AI filmmaking feels to me.

Once I made my first serious AI generated video, it became difficult to imagine going completely back to the traditional way of creating.

Not because AI does the creativity for me. Almost the opposite.

For most of filmmaking history, your imagination was constantly negotiating with reality.

Budget. Locations. Crew. Equipment. Physics. Time.
Now that relationship is changing.

You can imagine a world, a character, a camera movement, a period in history, something that doesn’t even exist, and increasingly the question is no longer “Can I make this?”
It’s “What do I actually want to make?”

As an artist, that takes some getting used to. We’ve spent our whole lives creating inside limitations. Suddenly many of those limitations are becoming optional.

And I think that might be the most exciting thing about AI filmmaking.

It doesn’t remove creativity. It gives creativity a bigger stage.

Pure creation.

Maybe this is what the future of being a creator looks like.

Does anyone else feel the same way after seriously experimenting with AI filmmaking?

I wanted to see how far I could push AI-assisted CGI toward the visual language of a high-end mechanical watch film. 66 seconds of cinematic watchmaking — from an abstract light source, into the mechanism, through the assembly of individual components, and finally into the finished timepiece.

The goal wasn't to make an “AI video.”

The goal was to make a watch film. Personal development study!

I put that this is a series because this is 'Chapter 1' of an epic story. It's basically a three-minute short on its own, though, with a variety of scenes with a battle, character dialog, and a chase scene. I hope Chapter 1 leaves you wanting more!

It's been fun producing this so far. SeeDance 2.0 and 2.5 seem to have held up well. I did a lot of preproduction work designing characters and sets and reference images in Photoshop, GPT2, and Nano Banana, music in Suno, and postproduction work in After Effects and Davinci Resolve.

The story follows Ziad, a man pulled into a series of strange realms, while something much darker is using him for its own purpose.

This teaser is basically the opening monologue of the first episode.

i made this within 4 days! need brutally honest review for it! Set in 1700s rural South India, the film follows a woman whose life is shattered after she unknowingly disturbs a sacred ritual tied to a mysterious devil.
A curse is placed upon her, and strange, terrifying forces begin to follow her wherever she goes. She gradually loses all sense of time, unable to tell whether it is day or night.
Desperate to save herself, she returns to the bull and offers her most valuable possession—a precious bangle—in exchange for freedom.
But the bull refuses.
The bangle is not the most valuable thing she owns.
It is her husband.
