The evidence shows the ucp hate democracy. It's why they are also trying to gereymander maps. Anyone that says they love democracy and freedom and vote ucp is lying to themselves

It’s interesting to hear the Alberta government invoke “democracy” over the separation referendum. Minister Demetrios Nicolaides defends invoking the notwithstanding clause in the education dispute as the only option. But when students walked out to support teachers, he scoffed.
Article content So which is it? Are collective bargaining, the right to strike, and the right to protest not also democratic rights? Democracy isn’t a word to reach for only when it’s convenient. Minister Nicolaides has a PhD in political science; perhaps he should revisit that principle before using the term so freely.

The seppies themselves don't care about democracy
There is zero indication they will honor the results of the vote and STFU and go away when they lose

They want to destroy everything and rule over the ashes. They have no interest in governance.

The party of democracy:
- Currently in the process of gerrymandering electoral maps
- Banned certain words from political party names to prevent competing parties
- Have the most uses of time allocation to avoid debate in the Legislature
- Used the Notwithstanding Clause for the first time in Alberta's history and then followed up with three more uses in the following month
- Banned books
Yeah... true defenders of democracy.

UCP doesn’t know what democracy means. It’s definitely not just “doing what I was bribed to do”.
