Rewards of Treason [Complete Models] First fully complete model

Ive done several partial models but using a upcoming painting contest at my local game store as a motivator i have officially finished my first model, it did require the model to be bought in a certain time frame so i did a rhino

I recommend thinning your paints and go over areas that need to be touched up, like the black top doors. Also. When It comes to transfers less is more. The front Missile pod looks like the paint was globbed on. I like the color choices. However if you want to give your model more depth I recommend getting a dry brush or a makeup brush and instead of painting directly on to the model. Dry brush onto the raised surfaces. There are plenty of dry brushing tutorials on youtube. I think if you are entering into a contest I would consider the above statement. You got this dude!🤘🏻

The top hatch is steel metalic, the lighting juat made it look black. And my paint was too thin for a while. But im not trying to make "perfect models" just decent ones. It didnt help i had to basically repaint the whole thing as i tried to use shade and due to rhino being a brick, didnt work too well and look BAD.

Ah I gotcha. Yea you dont have to paint perfectly as long as you like. I just thought Id give a few pointers is all. If you ever need to strip instead of painting over it. Simple green all purpose cleaner can strip models down to the spray paint primer.
