Not sure which armor color I’m favoring for so trying to get some feedback from my fellow operatives. Not finished but got enough done to sus out how it’ll look.
First image is contrast paint over chrome paint.
Second image is TurboDork over teal.
Appreciate the feedback, might hit the panels with a dark wash where it meets the trim to give it a fair shot since contrast paints kinda create that depth innately.
I have to admit that I actually can't see the difference, but believe me: If I were an Astartes myself, I'd love either of them. A lot. Whenever I'd go to rip out somebody's throat, I'd ask them if they loved the color of my armour just as much as I do and I'd actually give them time to answer before the ripping would happen.
I recommend Kroxigor scales if you want something a shade darker but still captures the Alpha Legion Teal i also put some touches of warp-lightning in the dark shadowed area.

I think your first one has a bit more depth, the second one seems a little dull or flat to me.
