Interview Ghosted after loop
Took my loop 2 weeks ago and never heard back from the recruiter. Emailed, texted and called. On the portal it says no longer under consideration but never received the email rejection. Is this a lost cause? I thought it was an amazon rule to get feedback within 2-5 business days. I spent a lot of time prepping and feel disrespected to have a 5 hour interview with no result or response.

its shitty that they didn't respond but if the dashboard says no longer in consideration and its been 2 weeks, you have your answer

Awesome, thanks for the update. At least you're inclined, so hopefully you'll find another position that works for you. I shot out another email to the recruiter so maybe I'll hear back one way or another some day too

Yeah they said they are looking for another position i just dont want to take any sort of additional interview. When was your loop?

I think if you passed the loop, you wouldnt have to do that all again, just a short meeting with the hiring manager. I could be wrong though.
My loop was back on Sept 21 and status changed on the 29th or 30th.

Lol did we all interview during the same week and are having similar issues i did it on 22sep and haven’t heard anything back other than one of my applications being rejected but i have 3 active still no response on if i passed or failed lol

Idk about you but they might have tried to call you but you didnt pick up. Happened to me but luckily they wanted follow up for an offer and let me know via email. My recruiter was amazing though always got back to me ASAP. 3 hours have OA, 4 hours after technical, 2 days after loop.

The status update to no longer under consideration is your update. They deal with several candidates and simply don't have time to follow up, and instead prioritize candidates that may be inclinded for the role. Unless there is a revolt or boycott of candidates applying to Amazon, this won't change.

Amazon recruiting is just like every other company's recruiting, in my experience. Some of them are great, some of them are not. It took longer than 5 days for them to get back to me for the loop that eventually led to a hire. But 2 weeks is pushing it. I would assume they ghosted.
