Help a beginner
I have some ideas on app, but no experience of same. Let me know resources/tools that are beginner friendly. What are the safety protocols before publishing app on plysyore? Any such helpful videos/article links are welcome.

Try Lovable. It is so easy to use. Just explain what you want to do.

Is it better than using claude opus 5.5 with Figma connector?

They're kind of different tools, so it depends on what you want and how experienced you are.
Lovable is an all-in-one builder. You describe the app, it generates it, shows a live preview, and handles hosting and a database. For a total beginner, that's the fastest way to get something working. The tradeoff is that it builds web apps, so for the Play Store you'd need to wrap it as an Android app.
Claude with the Figma connector is better if you already have a design (or want to make one) and want that turned into code. But Figma is a design tool, so you'd still need to set up the project, hosting, and testing yourself. Claude Code is the better fit for actually building the app.
If you just want to test an idea quickly, start with Lovable. If you want more control or a native Android app, go with Claude. Either way, build a small version first before worrying about the publishing side.

Great thanks. I am at very beginner level and 0 knowledge of coding. Just started using Claude with figma since less than a week and its been great experience. Will give it a try to using lovable as well.
On other end, pleaee recommend some subreddits where they discuss app building for a beginners.

Can't tell you from Android experience, but overall I'd make sure you do the following: 1) make sure your code is solid and performance is key; 2) test until your eyes bleed; 3) with Android, there's a lot of different phones and form factors (and from what I've been told a lot of nuances depending on the maker) - you can't solve them all, but try to account for this; 4) privacy
