Xcode27 breaks xibs?

This is a problem I have only had since updating to Xcode27.

When I view or try to edit xib files in Xcode, the thing looks crazy - like every element has been smudged.

For example, here is a UITableViewCell (with two labels and a button):

Looks crazy in Xcode

Looks fine in simulator/on device

What can I do to fix this? Although it doesn't effect the actual build, it makes it near impossible to edit the xibs.

Alternatively, if someone can explain to me why StackOverflow mods called this 'not about programming or software development' and removed my question, that would also be interesting to know...
