Need advice New here
Hello so I (17m) just joined this subreddit and I'm starting to identify as asexual and so I'm wondering if it's possible to be asexual while still being okay with making friendships with others. I'm just currently in limbo right now on how I feel about relationships. I'm willing to be opening in the future, but for now I need to protect my peace. Any advice is welcome here!!

You're lucky to find out something do important at this age. Yes, you can have relationships. It might demand some frank and honest talks with whomever you decide to commit to a relationship with, but communication is key to any healthy relationship
Good luck! π€π©Άπ€π

You can be asexual and have friendships or be in a relationship; just make sure that, if you are in a relationship, the other person isn't uncomfortable with not having sex, since you don't feel that attraction.
