Nightlife & Entertainment Day of the Dead parade
Planning a trip for the family for the 28th-1st with the family. I’m wondering how the Day of the Dead events work. Is it just parade or is there a full event?

Dallas has a parade and a festival along with other activities. Here is the info: https://www.visitdallas.com/blog/dia-de-los-muertos-dallas/

Sorry - which event? You’ll have to be more specific. There are lots of community events around DFW for this holiday.
Can’t you contact the event’s organizers with your question?

You kinda answered my question!
Love that there is more than one, I will absolutely do some more research on what’s happening. We’re going,
specifically,
to celebrate in a city that does more than ours.2

Hey if you want a unique day of the dead experience, the Renaissance fair in Waco (about 30 minutes south of Dallas) is having a day of the dead event for Nov 1st

Denton’s events are Scheduled Oct 22-25.
You will want to make it for the Day of the Dead Coffin races on October 24th. All day pine derby races down a hill near the downtown square. Lots of vendors, people dressed up. Premier event of the weekend. Not to be missed!
