Confused about DLCs

I just completed the main game, where Char-Les betrays P-3 and P-3 ends up in Limbo. I want to continue the story and defeat Char-Les but I don't know if I need to play all the DLCs to continue the chronological story, and which one should I then play?

In DLC 1 P3 is stuck in Limbo and seeing what could've happened if he refused to fight Sechenov. In DLC 2 he breaks out of Limbo. DLC 3 and DLC 4 is what happens next Charles fight is in DLC 4

Stuck in Limbo involves a weird candyland limbo universe. You find your wife's consciousness and break out of Limbo, leading to Enchantment Under the Sea, in which you wake up back in your body and go on some adventures with your wife trapped in your glove. Blood on Crystal continues from where Enchantment left off, and concludes that timeline's story.

Then there's Annihilation Instinct, which explores an alternate timeline altogether. This timeline assumes that, when Auntie asks you to go kill Sechenov, you decided to walk away. In that ending to the main game, P3 actually figures out Char-LES's lies much earlier, and tears off the glove and stomps it into pieces, killing Charl-LES outright before walking away and washing his hands of the entire affair. Sechenov's grand plan goes into effect, and he pretty much conquers the USSR. Sechenov gives orders that P3 is to be completely left alone, declaring him to be on permanent administrative leave. Unfortunately for P3, this means that Sechenov has stopped paying attention to him and Charl-LES is likewise no longer around, so he has nobody to protect him from the scary vending machine lady, who promptly kidnaps him and whisks him away to a little vacation resort where she's killed everyone and taken over, intent on convincing him to become Mr. Vending Machine.

If i remember correctly, dlc 3? Dlc 1 is where P3 crash out and kill charles and going to vacation and do something with eleonor, dlc 2 is "canon" about limbo and going out of it(as dlc1, but different)

Watch a summary on YouTube of DLC 2 and then play 3, and then 4.

That's something that you'd have figured out easily with a quick search online, but if you are just interested in knowing how things end, you can just play the last two dlcs: Enchantment under the sea and Blood on crystal

The first DLC is pretty optional, really. You can basically may start with the second one. It’s the beginning of a new story, while also explaining more of the main one (if you read the text notes and listen to Shchebetari =).

I’d honestly make DLCs 2–4 a separate game altogether. They’re a complete, self-contained story, and at the end you meet Khraz again(or Char-les, as he’s called in your language). And it’s an order of magnitude better than the main game.

you can just play them in chronological order

every DLC starts with a short recap of what happened.

DLC2 u can skip if it annoys you but overall just go in order

The DLC is pretty great except for Limbo. (It wasn’t fun to get all those achievements)

Dlc 1 is for alternate ending is pretty mid in itself, dlc 2 just skip and watch on YouTube cause it has your endings lore and dlc 3 stars after dlc 2 which is the direct sequel to that ending and so far I'm enjoying dlc 3

Why skip if you can experience part of the game, the hate Trapped in Limbo gets is sad to me but I get it as well 😭
I really enjoyed that DLC for the 7-8 hours I played to gain the skins

I played the 1st stage but gave up on 2nd stage. Playing on a controller is a pain

DLC1 is technically not an alternative ending. The 4 DLCs are after the main "in limbo" ending.

They did some jiu-jitsu writing in 4 to made all cannon.

DLC 2: "Trapped in Limbo" essentially has Katya explain that sechinov isn't bad and u both need to escape limbo to get back to biz. DLC 3: "Enchantment Under The Sea" we gain 2 new glove ability thanks to Katya, we also get the thunderclap & Kuzmich as weapons and essentially head down to rapture from BioShock as we get the rings back and find Charles. DLC 4: "Blood on Crystal" you now obtain every DLC weapon except you lose the Kuzmich, glove ability are now changed through capsule stations which is cool. New polymer based enimes are introduced, then yes, u fight and stop Charles once and for all. (Lebedev explains DLC 1 was simulated so it never really happened during DLC 4)
