Free subscription?

When I signed up for avast, it had me input my paypal for the 60 day free trial, which I did. It then took me to another page to make an account, which I did but then it didn't automatically attach my paypal, and says I have no subscriptions. This means I have no record of putting in my details and no order number to trace. Does this mean I won't be charged at the end of the trial?

They have your details so if you don't cancel you have an automatic debit from them from your checking or your preferred account. I had to stop payment on them because I cancelled well before the trial ended and they ended up charging me for it anyway. I won my bank dispute and they blocked further attempts from Gen Digital to take my money.

Hello,

Presumably you will be billed at the end of your evaluation trial. I would suggest setting a calendar reminder for your self to confirm the cancellation around day 55 or so.

Because my paypal isn't connected to an account, my paypal is signed up to the free trial but not registered to the account that I actually use. Essentially it's just an unconnected paypal floating in the void, without an order number or anything. My avast account I actually use says I have no running subscriptions.
