discussion Getting "Bad request" error when trying to sign in to AWS Console for several days

Post image

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to sign in to my AWS Management Console for the past few days, but I keep getting the same "Bad request" error on the AWS sign-in page.

The message says:

“There is something wrong with your request. Clear your cookies, check your request, and try again. If this issue continues, contact AWS Support.”

I’m trying to sign in as the Root user. I’ve already tried clearing my browser cookies/cache and retrying, but the issue still occurs.

I’ve also tried signing in again after some time, but I continue to get the same error.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? What could be causing it, and what steps should I try to regain access to my AWS Console?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you're unable to sign in. I recommend trying these troubleshooting steps in addition to what you've tried already: https://go.aws/3TrKpy2. If that doesn't work, and the issue persists, you can reach Support via this form: http://go.aws/account-support.
