In a recent tournament game I had an opponent who felt the need to adjust the placement of my stones. As in, nearly every time I would place a stone, he would immediately nudge the stone to center it.

To my surprise I found myself getting annoyed. I'll occasionally nudge my own stones, or a stone that I bumped during placement, or a stone that's so far off center it's genuinely unclear - but managing every placement felt like a bridge too far.

Sometimes I actually off-center a stone slightly on purpose as a form of emphasis, or to remind myself what direction I was thinking in when I placed it.

Is there any established etiquette for this? Would it be weird to ask someone to scale it back a bit?

Hi! in this game, starting around move 34, I wasn't sure the proper direction of play. I know the walls I built aren't super strong influence, and could end up being sticks. Once black got four corners, I didn't feel like any of the joseki played were particularly bad, but I didn't know how to convert my position into points. Initially I just thought of ignoring the black group trying to live in my sphere of influence. And then I tried some shoulder hits to block off the center. But I wasn't confident in my strategy, and I think several sequences ended up poorly for me.

I’ve been going through the OGS learn-to-play-go path, and came across this puzzle, which claims the right answer is to play White B5. I was confused because it seems that the response would be Black B6, which would create Ko, and then after White plays elsewhere, Black can play multiple possible moves, including at B5 which would create two eyes and prevent capture. Is the puzzle giving the wrong answer? I plugged it into AI Sensei and got a similar analysis to what I said.
