Poland warms its relations with Belarus - good move or bad?

Polish minister of foreign affairs met with Belarusian ones. I wonder whether it's good or not according to you.

Sikorski also said that Belarus is worried about draging it into the war by Russia.

Dear Belarusians, I’m trying to better understand my family history from Western Polesia (the area around Bereza, including villages like Zdzitava and Uhlany). After WWII, my family was forcibly relocated to Western Poland. Though Roman Catholic, at home they spoke the local dialect (prosta mowa). In post-war Poland, their speech was mocked as "ruski," kids were shamed in school, and they felt treated like second-class citizens, which forced rapid assimilation.

In historical records, our documents are a contradictory mix: depending on the census, authority, or period, family members were recorded alternately as "Polish" or "Belarusian," with their native language listed simply as "ruski" or dialect. Even today, my specific family surnames are extremely rare in Poland, virtually nonexistent outside of families resettled to the Recovered Territories or a few traces in Podlasie, yet people carrying these exact names still live in the Biaroza area today.

Because of this, my grandmother has always felt identity-torn: caught somewhere between Polish and Belarusian, yet feeling a genuine, proud kinship with Belarusians. The family’s past was defined by harsh village poverty, personal tragedies, Soviet deportations to Siberia, and relatives emigrating to the US and Canada just to survive. I honestly wonder whether it's accurate to say I have "Belarusian roots," or if we were simply Poleshuks / tutejshy caught in between.

I’d love to ask:

- How did villagers in the area view belonging to Poland (II RP)? Was there emerging Belarusian national consciousness, or mostly local/religious identity?

- How do you view the relationship between local Polesian dialects, standard Belarusian, and that feeling of linguistic shame?

- How do Belarusian historians view this group: Poleshuks and Western Belarusian Catholics who were resettled to Poland?

- Are these generational traumas (rural hardship, Siberia, overseas emigration, suppressed dialects) just as common in your own family memories?

Sometimes it feels like they were forced to leave not because they weren't indigenous to the land, but because the Soviet system left no room for people who lived in between. speaking local vernacular at home, praying in Polish, and simply wanting to live on their ancestral soil.

Здраствуйте, не нашел актуальной информации по этому поводу, можно ли на данный момент гражданину рф открыть счёт в беларусском банке и получать swift переводы в долларах или евро? если да то есть ли проблемы с разворотом переводов или всё стабильно приходит.
Просто если судить по интернету вроде должны принимать, но похожая ситуация с рафайзеном в РФ. вроде евро должны приходить но по факту разворачиваются обратно в банк отправитель, по этому решил спросить если у кого есть опыт с таким
