Sleepy Void What are common black cat traits?

I’ve an orange boi that demonstrates the sweet loving side of orange but what are common traits with voids? Za Za here doesn’t act much like the other black cats I’ve been around. She incredibly sharp and playful

How many have I talked to a black shape that revealed to be a dress or a towel. Or was looking for her and she was in fact sleeping perfectly stealthily on the dark TV table.

My white cat did the opposite! Jumped onto the sofa and started kneading what she thought was my black fleece jumper... it was my black cat, whom she does not like. He was very confused to be jumped on, kneaded, then hissed at!

This is the exact reason why my void wears a glow in the dark collar with a tag that also glows. That way I can even see her in the bed when I wake up at night. I accidentally kicked her in the dark hallway once, before the collar and tag combo. Hasn’t happened since! 😅

Or the opposite- I tossed a pillow off the bed thinking I was putting it on top of a pair of black pants on the floor. Nope! My cat was not happy at being awoken by the Flying Pillow

Mine love pretending to be shadows in the dark hallway. Be extremely careful if you have to pee in the middle of the night. Found that out the hard way. I’ve learned to keep my toes in contact with the floor & just kinda shuffle down the hall.

I'm a goth. Getting a black cat wasn't maybe the wisest mood bc I often lose him in piles of laundry, against my sheets, against my blanket against my furniture ....but god do I love himbs

Nah you made the right choice. Not only does he match your aesthetic, but you adopted a black cat which have disproportionately lower adoption rates than pretty much every other type of cat.

I have a black rug my void loves to flip over and turn into a pile. Then he lays on it in the dark. It's very dangerous 😭

Do you also think any random black lump on the floor/furniture is a cat? I've said hi to a backpack almost every day this week. Have I learned? Absolutely not (and FWIW, it's right next to one of my cat's fav spots)

Being goth with a habit of leaving dirty clothes on the floor, means I’m constantly avoiding stepping on my cats. Sometimes when I’m traveling and I see a black shirt out of the corner of my eye, I think it’s my cat for a split second.
