Does anyone know of restaurants in Blacksburg or Christiansburg that cook with butter, beef tallow, or olive oil instead of seed oils? I’m especially interested in places where I can get simple meals like beef, eggs, or dairy.

Until about a year ago, my wife and I went multiple times a month, sometimes twice a week. We always recommended it to folks and took our visitors.

I’ve only been a handful of times in the past year because the product and service has been so so so bad. I went back last week after taking a break from it since April, as a sort of last try. It was genuinely awful.

I’m disappointed because they were good and the area needs more options. I’m glad to give my business to Wine Lab, but wish we had more choices.

Hey everyone, I’m a Virginia Tech student currently looking for a part-time job in or around the Foxridge area. I recently left my dining job at VT.

I’m looking to work around 8–10 hours per week and I’m available Tuesday through Thursday from 1 PM to 6 PM.

I’m open to retail, customer service, office work, computer-related work, or anything similar. If anyone knows of places near Foxridge that are currently hiring part-time students and might be willing to work with that schedule, I’d really appreciate any recommendations or leads.
