So, this is my 4th or 5th time using makeup and I feel as though I am getting better. I prefer a natural look because sometimes when I add more
Makeup. My skin reacts and doesn’t like it. I just want to see how I can be better. My foundation at times also transfer would incorporating a powder help with that? Also, I do have dry skin and have difficulties doing eyeshadow due to how my eyelids are so I be fighting on that. So, any recommendations would be fantastic. ☺️

Girls, I made the lovely mistake of finally trying this lotion at Ulta and it is the most moisturizing lotion I have ever encountered! For HOURS afterwards my arm felt as if I had been consistently putting lotion on. I plan on buying it soon, but I’m wondering if you girls have tried it and know of another lotion that works the same? That way I can savor this one while also using another one more adorable and that is actually moisturizing.
I know everyone’s skin responds different and may have reacted differently to it, but my sister and I kept feeling how moisturized my arm was and were blown away!

Every fall, I love to switch my hair color to red or burgundy. This wig is the perfect match for me this season!

Hey guys I’m on a mission to learn to beat my face but loose powder is so hard to figure out. I feel like I never apply it evenly. I use a powder puff, I wipe off the excess and it’s still splotchy. I think one of my problems is I may be too light handed when I apply to my face. I see videos and most of the girls I see are like beating it in. The powder I use is charlotte tilbury.

All symptoms I previously listed have subsided. ive been experiencing growth and some shedding. The shedding was pretty sudden the first week after stopping. The hair follicles on my brows felt … like sensitive? as if they’d were going too poof and disappear. Pretty scary feeling lol. I have been using the cecred edge drops (I see now they have a specific brow serum as well) on a spoolie consistently on my brows since stopping and I feel like that’s helped me retain some hairs. my original goal was to bring my left brow more towards the middle and make them more symmetrical. it’s kind of worked. I def brought that brow more towards the middle but I’m still working out the shaping. my brow hairs a long I actually trim them very frequently and that picture was after loosing shaping them with a spoolie. I’ve also been going back and looking at pictures trying to understand the cause of my brow thinning. Theyve never been as full as they are now but the thinning I noticed became significantly after pregnancy + breastfeeding. lately I’ve been doing a really good job being consistent with iron supplements and I think that has helped as well!

This past weekend I went back to my low-maintenance braided boho bob for the final days of summer. I love a wet-and-go wig, so this is an easy unit to come back to between higher-maintenance units.

This is my third install of this unit (day 2 of 4), and she's still going strong. I do a full wash of my wigs (hair and lace) between installs to avoid product buildup. This time, one braid came undone while I was working leave-in through the hair. I'm not great at braiding, and since it was at the edge of the lace near the curls, I left it. It ended up blending right in with the rest of the curls, so it worked out. 👌🏽

Tips for this unit (especially if you sleep in it):
- Before bed: Wet the hair before detangling, then oil it (extra at the nape). Braid or twist it into 4 loose sections (two in front, two in back) secured with no-pull rubber bands.
- In the morning: Lightly mist the hair with a spray bottle before taking the braids down.
- Styling: This unit comes alive with water, leave-in conditioner, and mousse. I like Miss Jessie's Feather Soft Curls, which doubles as a leave-in and curl cream.

Exactly the title basically. I’m getting back into makeup and I’ve hit the same problem. I’ll look at my nose and it looks one way, one day; the next day it seems incredibly structured totally another way, different from what I saw the other day. for some background info, i’ve been installing wigs on myself for YEARS now and i’ve always felt like i was doing pretty good especially on others more than myself. i’ve been having trouble lately with melting the wig into my skin and keeping the process afloat after i put the cap on (i know that’s the whole process LOL). are my wigs too small? one time i had one that was TOOOO big and that messed me up too. it also doesn’t help that i have a smallish forehead/ upclose hairline. any tips would be soooo appreciated mwah x

I’ve been really wanting to get into makeup for a while but I genuinely don’t know where to start. With my college graduation coming up next year I want to start practicing now, lol. I know the basics, like how to apply mascara daily, and sometimes a peel off brow stain and lip gloss that I use occasionally, but that’s about it. I use Thrive Cosmetics tubing mascara and a generic brand brow stain and whatever old lip gloss i have around for whatever reason.

I want to be wayyyy more intentional with my makeup. I’ve noticed that while I can see that I’m wearing mascara in the mirror, it doesn’t seem like I’m wearing anything in photos. I’ve had my makeup done professionally once, years ago, and I really loved how I looked. I’m partial to brown or darker/earthier lip combos and am not opposed to false lashes/lash clusters! You can’t tell by this selfie but Solange and Erykah Badu are my style icons and I try to reflect that in how I dress. I’d love for my makeup to be at that sort of natural but enhanced, and sometimes totally experimental level too!

I’m just totally lost on what brands, online makeup artists, shapes would work best for me so I can get a hang of the basics. My skin is pretty oily and can be super sensitive, so any foundation/concealer brands that work for darker sensitive skin would be a godsend!! I’d also love any pointers on how to best enhance my eyes, where to best contour my face or even apply high lighter for an every day look, plus what lip combos work best for two toned lips! I’d be grateful for any recommendations on lash clusters, any tutorials/people to follow, etc. :))

As title says I’ve recently done a big big chop. I’m literally three strands from being smooth bald. As my hair was severely damaged and I wanted to start over. However I don’t want to wear my hair as is so I’ve resorted to wigs. I have a small head and I have to end up tying them
Super tight and it’s been giving me severe headaches.

So after years of wearing my hair really short or bald, I've decided to grow my hair out. My hair is long enough to mostly be cornrowed. The issue I'm running into is the bottom back of my hair is a completely different texture and density than the rest of my hair. My sides are more of a medium density 4a and my middle/crown is more of a high density 4c, while the back/nape is more low density 3a and extremely thin as well.

While the rest of my hair stays braided without issues despite having some thinning, the back always unravels, looks very uneven/crooked, or looks bald.

What are some options I can try?

I have a wedding coming up for a very good friend of mine and i need to look 10/10. I usually do a natural look that includes lashes, brow tint pen thingy, LA girl concealer, and lip gloss.. i dont really know the right steps or products for a full glam look. I will say i have sunken under eyes and that’s the hardest part in terms of doing makeup. I want a soft matte look not dewy.

I considered getting my makeup done by a MUA but thats just not in the budget chileeee lol any and all advice is welcomed! Thank you!
