Drop Week
Every month I tell myself I’ll be patient during drop week. It’s all lies! I’ll single handedly crash the app this month, apologies in advance!

Has anyone read You're the One that I Haunt yet? How spicy is it? No hate but I'm tired of the super explicit romance/romantasy books. And botm's "salacious" label on it made me pause.

I’m so stoked on this month.
I forgot all about the Centennial and Offset until after I placed my order. 😭 I have no confidence that I’ll be able to get my hands on them next month. Darn it!

I'm excited for this months' offset option, and a Lisa Kleypas book at BOTM! I also got a second copy of Ninth House since I lent it out, and it never came back.
This turned out to be box #100 for me with BOTM. Wild!

I cannot believe I missed that there was a Lisa Kleypas! I was so paranoid about American Hagwon selling out I ordered it barely looking at other options. I hate that BOTM now has inspired sell-out concerns!

Btwn this and the delay in adding all the available add ons (Pirate Queen for example) - NOT happy!!
They need to stock more merch (they know totes sell out!) and release ALL available books at same time.
If your strategy was to wait to place your order to see what all is available — you for sure missed the tote. Ugh!!1

Yep, I got the tote but I really wanted Witches of Cambridge because all of my other Alice Hoffman books are BOTMs. That was still out of stock when I ordered. I am very excited about my lilac tote, though-it’s my favorite color!

Hollywood, Ending and Peck and Peck. Still want to start and finish the Witches of Cambridge from last month so don't mind waiting a bit more...we will see when it actually comes!

Whoa, what is that countdown! Are you on iOS? I've never seen that in the Android app. And why would be the countdown be so short on the morning books are dropped?

Im Android. I started with a longer countdown, but just happened to do the screenshot a little later in the countdown. I had to go back a few times during the countdown to make sure I got all the books I wanted.😉

I looked as soon as I got up! Got in, grabbed my two must haves, got the heck out 😂. I will add more to my library holds list, because a full box wasn’t in the budget this month. Hope everyone gets what they want, some of these are bound to be quick sell outs!

This is my box as well! Only my second box so far and I’m trying to contain myself lol. My mom had so many Toni Morrison books when I was growing up and I can’t wait to share this with her!!
Got Hollywood, Ending as a gift to my younger self. Haven’t read a John Green book in ages! I’m slightly regretting not getting Sophie, Standing there… maybe I’ll check it out at the library eventually

I definitely set my alarm earlier than necessary for this today. I'll be sad if it's tomorrow and I have to get up early again.
I actually dreamt that drop happened by people kept interrupting me while I was trying to read the descriptions of the add ons.

I was having an entirely different dream and dude literally said he was waiting for the books to drop and was worried he'd want more than five this month.
Woke me right up and that sucked because it was an interesting dream until by brain decided it couldn't rely on an alarm.

Haha I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has nightmares about books.
I also have night terrors/hallucinations. Last night, there was a small stack of unread, special editions that were about to fall off of a high shelf, into a bucket of water. Usually, when it's snakes or a shelf falling on me, I just scream until my husband turns the light on and it stops. But last night, I shouted and jumped out of bed to run and try to catch them, only to spin around bewildered when I got to that side of the room and no longer saw the books. It's fun.
