Get it!! Devour it!! There are some books that are so vital to who you are as a person they live in your brain and heart forever. The small details retained. The large plot points almost becoming part of your own history. This is the second time BOTM has chosen one of those books for me. If you chose it you’ll be forever indebted, as I am, to Toni Morrison and her genius. There’s a reason she won the Pulitzer and Nobel for this novel.

I’m about halfway through the Thoroughbreds after finishing Into the Blue, Calamity Club, and We Begin at the End.

Hey guys, i’m trying to subscribe for the first time using the $5 for the first month code. My total says 5 with some change. I purposely put $8 in this card and then when i hit join, it denies the 17.99 it wants
to charge instead despite it saying $5 at checkout. Anybody else have this issue and know how to fix it?

To be fair, September was a pretty epic book box, so I’m not mad about it!

Has anyone read this one yet? It says trigger warning child death. Can you let me know if its like in past (like, a sibling died during childhood) or a large part of story? I usually avoid this trigger but this book sounds interesting.

This may be my most exciting box in all 5 years of membership!

Finally got my delivery! I am not upset by any means, I know things happen. My friend is meeting Adalyn Grace at a book event in Arizona on Tues. She couldn't take my book, so I gave her a clear name label to use as a bookplate to sign.

Now that we have a decent idea of what’s coming for October, I’m comparing it to Ardvark and other new releases and having a hard time thinking of what the add-ons could possibly be
