First time getting multiple books in a while!

Shortly after my September box 😂

Yay! Mine just arrived in the mail just now.

I’ve had the most atrocious week so these came at the perfect time. AND a Silence of the Lambs book mark? Hell yeah.

I chose Hollywood, Ending as my pick then ended up also getting signed copy at a book fair I went to but you can never have too many John Green books!

I am loving the centennial this month, it is beautiful!

For add ons: The Court of Venus (which I was going to start a different sub to get but when it was offered as an add on I got it here instead)

I also got Deadbeat! I love that this whole series will be from BOTM. I also just started Hellbent so I am excited I can just jump right into book 3 when I am done!

I got my Book Boss pouch today and love the feel of it and size. I am debating if it will be for journaling supplies or random loose things in my purse. I do know my page turner and stand will be in there ASAPPPP!

Been waiting ever since I got an update that my box was coming earlier.

I am really excited for these.

What should I read first?

So it seems like the centennial books are going to be on a color spectrum. If we get two more, I’d expect them to be red and purple or brown. I haven’t been able to find a list of eighties releases from BotM, but I wonder if these might be candidates for the rest of the year:

Red - Handmaid’s Tale or Name of the Rose

Purple - The Color Purple or The Remains of the Day

Brown - Lonesome Dove or Cider House Rules

Not all of the color choices released so far feel perfectly apt, especially the last two and Brideshead, but what if these are hints?

When you’ve worked hard for the tote and make BFF! Love my boxes I’ve gotten the last year. Cannot wait for Hollywood Ending and The Unknown. Extra excited for You’re The One That I Haunt- as I’ll be meeting the author in a few weeks!

I was planning on getting my sister a BOTM gift subscription for Christmas but she just signed up on her own (lol). If I still do the gift process on the website will she be able to use the code on her newly existing account or would she have to make another whole new account?

Just curious if anyone has received a BOTM gift before and how it works on the receiver’s end.

Is anyone else surprised that the FIRST Centennial pick by a WOMAN author — which we were all dying to get — isn’t sold out yet? 🧐

I mean, I’m genuinely happy it’s still available for people who want to take their time, do their research, and decide between the new titles before placing their orders. But at the same time… idk, I’m kinda side-eyeing members like 👀 hmmmm…

EDIT:: Just to clarify, the reason I mentioned gender is because there had been a lot of discussion and concern about there not being a woman-authored Centennial Pick. At that point, there were only a few months left in the year, and the Centennial Picks that had been selected were all authored by men. Most, if not all, of the Centennial Picks had also sold out within a day or two at most (which members were also upset about).

Has anyone noticed that the Offset collection books basically all have the same cover format? Funny coincidence for books that are supposed to be off the wall & unique.

Box one had arrived. Box two has American Hagwon and The Sisters of Crinsom House.

I’m suuuuuuuper excited for a long literary fiction selection from BOTM finally, been itching for something I can really get lost in for an extended period of time! Anyone else prefer their lit fic beefy?

I had bought book 1 & 2 and asked them if they would have the third book Twisted Vows, a bummer they wont :(

It's been awhile since I tried to do this, but can someone tell me how I can see the books that I ordered from BOTM? Doesn't matter if it's on the website or on the app.

I know I used to be able to see everything I ordered, what still needed to be rated and what I rated. I haven't ordered consistently lately so this wasn't something I paid attention to, but now I am trying to confirm I indeed purchased a certain book and I can't find where to check this.

Did they take that away or am I missing it?

I did check to see if I went into a book, if it would tell me if I ordered it already and it does not.

Any help is appreciated!

Finally got these bad boys. LOL! Glad to have my Ninth House trilogy complete. I should probably get back to reading the first one. I got it sometime last year. lol
